When i was still in the Philippines, i heard this song, it was probably still untitled that time, and then i browse Imago’s top songs, and listened to the song AKAP, i was like, i know that song!!! Such a huge throwback and part of my teenage life. I’m blasting it here in Hawaii!! I still listen to OPM songs 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
2022 and this still rocks for me. Aia will always be my favorite and original Imago vocalist.

Yes true. Kc nung mid 2000's to late 2000's, marami din kcng magagaling na Banda at that time na sumikat. Samahan mo pa ng Kitchy nadal. Itong mga kgaya ng Imago parang naging 2nd rate nlng cla at that time. Ngyn lng nating ma re realize na ganito pla kaganda yng song na ito plus yng Powerful voice ng vocalist nila.
Ngayon ko lang naappreciate kung gaano kagaling yung band nila. Dami rin kasing magagaling na banda na kasabayan nila dati. Galing ng vocalist.

Lumaki ako sa music na ito but never paid attention sa mga miembro... years later, nanonood ako nang Makina and motorcycle reviews, I realized that sir Zach is/was part of Imago as their drummer lol. One of the best musicians sa Pinas and one of the best motovloggers as well!

And yung style nya is very unique/special and ahead of its time, marami naka-adapt nung style kaya parang ang nangyari naging crowded na sila sa ganong style at parang naging common na yung tunog nya. Pero para sakin isa siya sa pinakamagaling na female singer sa Pinas. Especially sa live. Never ko narinig si Aia nahirapan sa live. Laging flawless performance hanggang ngayon.

Nung time na ito, untitled pa yung Akap. In the making pa lang yung 2nd album ng Imago, Take 2. Pero nanalo na si Aia de Leon nito ng Vocalist of the Year sa NU 107 Rock Awards, the first (and only) female to win that award.
Nung mga panahon na ito, umasa akong gaganda pa boses ko. 🤦♀️ Hahaha. Ilang beses ko ba naman kantahin ito sa videoke nun. Pati yung isang song nila sa same album, Taning. Yun talaga ang 2nd favorite ko sa Imago. Sundo ang 1st syempre pa rin.
Pero hanggang asa na lang talaga ako. Gaya ng mapa-hanggang ngayon umaasa pa rin ako na ilalagay din nila yung Take 2 album sa spotify. Kahit yung Taning na lang po please? 🙏
