Wow what a great performance by England. As an Irish fan I have to say that they were too good on the day! World class performance. England have given is tough games over the past 3 or 4 years in each of their losses and two were with red cards. Some serious athletes coming through in that team and I believe they’ll win the six nations next year. Great for the six nations to have them back and enjoy the win!

As an Englishman I feel the Irish have dragged the rest of the Six Nations teams to a different level. Each team seems to play to a higher standard against them.

I am Irish and just don't understand why England can't play like this every game? They did the same against South africa in the world cup, kept it simple but highly physical. It is very hard to beat.

As a Scot obviously disappointed with the result. yesterday, but as a Rugby fan yesterday was what the 6 nations needed, two fantastic games and the favourites in both edged out, Italy being competitive is the best thing that can happen to this championship, And England starting to build a team with pace and power is ominous, Great day of Rugby.
Amazing game of rugby. As an Englishman I firstly appreciate this highlight reel, showing the infraction as well as the penalties. Cheers for that. Also, I always thought we stepped up our game last year after a wet fart of a six nations, and fell tantilizingly short in Dublin - I wondered if that really inspired the boys today. This is my long way of saying I think next year's match (in Dublin I'm guessing) is going to be a belter! Good luck next week!

Great game and England deserved to win. The last box kick by Murray was a bad decision. Pundits like Jamie Heaslip need to stop talking crap as well.
Agree 100 % and also ferris, rte should get rid of them pair, for former international players they talk shite at times, murray along with o mahony are finished quite frankly and add in Henderson, cost us the game today, if Farrell has any further ambition with this team then drop several players and build for 2027, will he?? Whatever about the pundits that box kick from Murray who has been an unbelievable servant to us should have gone another 40 yards into the English half. It invited trouble and it came,, sport can kick you in the guts sometimes but it's how you respond that defines you, I've no doubt they will.

England deserved the win but to kick to touch with 1 minute plus left ball should have been tucked up the jersey to waste time think of Munster turning down a kick for a penalty in European cup final not to give ball back to opposition and took tap penalty and ran out the game
From a Springbok supporter, IRE is the best in the world at the moment no doubt. ENG played well and deserved this win but great teams will learn from their mistakes and only be better the next game. Fantastic game of rugby. Looking forward to IREvSCO next week and cant wait for SAvIRE in July
Have to say i've never seen fans like the Irish fans last night and today be so gracious in defeat, i've barely seen any negative comments from them. Refreshing to see, i think they appretiated how much of a monumental task it was to beat this world class irish team. They are still a class above right now, but it just shows England are on the right track. The coaches like Felix Jones did say it would take around 15 test matches for the coaching to start to click. Think we see parts of it come to light yesterday but as an England fan i defiantly won't get ahead of myself, i'll just appretiate this win and look forward to the next game.

England upped their game against the best team who uncharacteristically didn’t bring their A game, and looked rattled. Ireland will still win the Championship, but let's applaud the effort of both teams. Best game in this year's Championship and a great Rugby spectacle for the fans.

@@komodosp Connor was dreadful, slow, box kicking was really bad, he just looked like rabbit caught in lights, JGP had to jump back to 9 at one point because he was so slow and kicking the ball away with a minute to go, how many times have we see him do that. @anthonyr587 nah his, first try was made by Jones (born in Edinburgh) and his 3rd try was a simple finish of a Scotland line out steal, Redpath break and quick thinking by Russell. Scotland won that game up front, something most punters overlook.
We’re a team in transition, incorporating new players and new ideas for a new 4 year World Cup cycle. This game finally showed us that we are moving in the right direction. Ireland are brilliant at the moment, but will also have to bed in new players etc to finally beat their QF curse at the next World Cup. In the meantime they will probably get a championship or two, but must stay humble. Some of their pundits are getting carried away with themselves.
Ah they played great here though man. They deserved to beat us. They were just better than us on the day that’s all there is to it! No shame in it, they played some great rugby. The one thing that annoys is Murray box kicking into touch instead of giving it to Lowe to hoof down field. Not saying that we would have won or that we deserved to win but we would have had a better chance.
Serious questions for the Irish. A repeat of the problems that appeared in the Welsh game - poor line outs, stupid penalties (captain sin binned!), poor decision making (Murray giving ball back to England in the final minutes), handling mistakes. If the coaches don’t get a grip of this they’ll be destroyed in South Africa.
The six nations is the highlight of the sporting year and regardless of who you support there's always something in every game that can light you up. EXETER CHIEFS - COME ON!!

Huge amount of young talent in Irish rugby, the amount of 30+ year olds in the 23 is absurd. Didn’t do well in the World Cup and couldn’t do back to back slams.

but this has nothing to do with the try build up, and looks to be from a completely seperate incident.
I guess it could be as its higlights they dont show it, but the try starts with an Irish box kick

Seen flashes of good play from England this season but they simply weren't consistent. Never expected this display or result though. Being honest, if I was a betting man, I'd have given Ireland a 15 point+ win margin, before the game but England were the better team, on the day. Certainly wasn't a lucky result

Ireland bottled the big occasion again. Sheehan had a mare; O'Mahony as Captain had a schoolboy rush of blood to the head; Aki running the kickoff return into touch was almost as dumb as Murray kicking away possession from a winning position; but the team generally is unbalanced trying to compensate for how clearly Crowley is not an international level 10 - I've seen falling leaves look more like knocking someone over than his flailing attempt at a tackle for England's first try and his kicking was only made look not so bad because Forde had a poor day. Gibson-Park as a winger was a positive highlight, but even he had a poor game with too many knee-high hospital passes just as the pack was on the verge of building some momentum. An embarrassing performance all round. Ireland must get a better sports psychologist onboard.
