I remember September 1987. I was 16 and on my bike back home from a friend, it was dark outside and raining heavy... the damp autumn air with its good smells and corn freshly cut out on the fields, I was in a state of bliss as I had 10 diskettes in the back of my dongeri jacket, squeezed it tight, thinking about when I got home it was good and warm, along with my commodore 64, I would take out the disks and play new games on it. My mom and dad downstairs, cooking up supper, probably moms awesome bread with fried eggs, cheeze & ketchup on top, drinking cold milk. Those were the days of innocence and what dreams are made of. God in Heaven what I would do to live them days over and over again. It almost brings tears of joy and sadness to my eyes, but I consider myself lucky to get the chance to experience that. The whole 80s was an awesome time to be alive in. I wish those days would return, those days of innocence and how people treated each other. Everyone mattered.

I started listening to a band called FM-84 about a week ago, got completely hooked, and now i have discovered at least 100 similar bands that all remind me of my childhood in the 80's , Synthwave is my new drug for 2021. i am also looking for some retro instrumental funk and soul, too much music not enough time.

This may have taken over the number one spot for my favorite synthwave songs. It might actually be ALMOST too much synth for me, but I do really really the pop-rock sensibility of it as well.
