- Let me first say, Windows Movies Maker pretty much hates me when I try and put a bunch of clips and music into the same video! =[ It is the slowest thing ever! Well, Pinnacle isn't any better actually...
I apologize for the sucktasticness of the quality of the footage && audio. But, try and enjoy it anyway? I tried. && Now there is another Jack/Janet video out there. ^-^

I still miss John Ritter. I agree, Jack and Janet's characters should have gotten together and made the spin-off Three's A Crowd. They really loved each other in real life. They carried the show from '77 to '84. I still watch all of the episodes on TV Land from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. too. I DVR it. LOL... R.I.P. John.
I think if Jack and Janet had done their own spin off it would have been a beloved classic like Threes Company.

So glad I came across this video. I've always loved Jack and Janet together and always hoped they would've ended up together, their friendship was just beyond special to lead to love. Perfect song for this video.

Years later and I still find myself watching this video. Jack and Janet were MEANT to be together, yet the ending... everytime I think about it... it was terrible writing in the end. They had so much years of being together, they were use to each other, grew to love and admire each other. The love was obvious... they didn't need to act out on it for proof. Their little gestures was enough to show the obvious love these two shared. I like to pretend the ending never happened and that Jack and Janet got their happy ending TOGETHER. I LOVE THIS VIDEO... it's so well put together and it describes everything I basically just saidx33 Great job!

Jack and Janet were good friends but would not have worked out for a relationship. That was the basic foundation of the show, and thankfully the writers stuck to that. It's unlikely that 2 single hetreos could live together for that long and not actually sleep together. That's because they were both idealizing a different kind of partner, which is what often happens in real life. but sadly it ended after 8 seasons.

The script and meaning behind the show was brilliant! Jack and Janet were good friends, with some mutual attraction, but both knew they would not have worked out for a relationship. It was a big big miss by ABC not having Jack and Janet end up together. First off there was such great chemistry between Joyce and John and so many moments where it's clear that in real life they're characters would have fallen in love. Ratings busters to see them hook up on the finale and a huge big season of them together in Three's A Crowd which ratings would have at least gotten a second season. John and Joyce could have carried a new show beacause of their years together.

I had a HUGE crush on John and actually sobbed when they had the cast of "8 Simple Rules" do an interview right after his passing. It took years before I could watch him in anything without tearing up. Pretty bad, huh? =~C But, now I can watch him and smile again. Thanks for this video!

I really wished that Jack and Janet ended up together in the end of the series. That was the only disappoinment of the show. Other than that, I love this show very much... AND your video. :))))

I love this beautiful fanvid! I agree with everyone here! Jack/Janet should've ended up together. They understood one another. The ending sucked not just with Janet marrying Phillip and Jack with Vicki, but with Terri leaving them behind as well! She was my favorite blonde roommate. As for the people talking about That 70's Show, I love that show as well. It is the modern Three's Company, however they botched it up with Fez/Jackie hooking up instead of having Hyde/Jackie reconciling.

Well well. These clips I've been seeing now has me thinking that 3's Company got it all wrong in the end. There was too much temptation in the apartment from both sides. Jack and Janet may as well have rode off into the sunset together.

One of the biggest blunders as far as finales go... should've been Jack & Janet coming together as a couple. Didn't like who they paired each with and the audience was already invested in J&J (they had such natural chemistry).

If Jack and Janet were a couple in 3's a crowd, the series would have lasted about 3 episodes. It would've just been a rehash of 3's Co. The producers and writers made the right call by not making them a couple.
