On a spanish video called "Bob Esponja Cholo | Origen Del Meme", they found that the "Gangster spongebob" image was a original desing made from a store called "Mother Yolands Designer T-shirts" and they used to sell it via ebay only on 2006. The store had other "gangster cartoon character" desings that they made along side the spongebob one.
So do you think that Mother Yolands were the ones that made the design?

13:08 this doesn't mean much. back in 2006 you couldn't upload your own image to use as an avatar on youtube as stupid as it sounds. you had to use a thumbnail from a video you uploaded or else you would just have the default one. I remember some people simply uploaded a 1 second video with the avatar they wanted just so they could use it.

The concept of "gangsta cartoons" goes back to at least the 1980s where a line of unauthorized Looney Tunes merch was sold in New York. It reached the mainstream in the 1990s when Warner Bros. made official merch of the idea to promote Space Jam. Thankfully, they didn't sue the original artists nor outright steal their designs as far as I know.

It was almost certainly originally a T-shirt design. Gangster cartoon characters were pretty common on shirts at the time, with a lot of them stemming from developing countries in Latin America where copyright law was less often enforced (while these designs might have qualified as parody, they're in a very grey area).

I doubt cedillomontes and Irradiatus are the same person - making a video's thumbnail was a feature that existed at the time, and was the only option for a custom profile picture (custom thumbnails didn't exist either). Some abandoned CZcams channels (or ones that have simply been around for a long time) have 'profile picture' videos, which have one still frame that they wanted to be their profile picture. I assume both users simply chose to do this with a random video on their account

I feel like 'Stop Making Me Cry' is a bit older. Sounds more like 90s to me but I'm not a music expert. It sounds fairly generic for whatever time period it was released in.
'Tension Rising in the Air' sounds like it could have been made as background music for a movie or TV show. It would be right at home playing alongside a scene of a character riding a motorcycle. Anyone searching for French media and media containing ghosts are almost certainly on a wild goose chase. 'Lorrain' could simply be the real name of the uploader and the 'ghost' line is a simile, not a literal statement of what the origin media contains. The 'plane' sound might be a genuine lead but it could also just be distortion caused by signal interference or something if the track was recorded from a radio. Or if the track came from a TV show, perhaps there was only a plane in the one episode the song featured in.

So i'm just gonna say this, i think the vocals in "Stop making me cry" are Female and it's 100% not the same song as EKT. Different instruments and vocalists plus clearly different genres. EKT is 80's Pop while Stop making me cry is very likely House. Someone commented that they heard this song on spotify but i doubt it as it would of been found by now if it was. This is clearly in my opinion late 2000's or early 2010's house music, i used to hear alot of this music while in my teens and it fits right in with the time frame of the type of music was popular especially here in England. if anyone is willing too, check 2000's and early 2010's electro house CD mixes or Clubland CD mixes for it.
That feels too late for a rave piano vibe. I'd put it more mid 90s. I was buying Clubland and similar compilations throughout that period and that doesn't feel right to me.

I know you're just quoting people about the "xxxxxxx" video, but the conclusion you come to really wants to make me scream "no you fucking zoomers, not every weird/creepy video is an ARG or was trying to be one!" ARGs were pretty rare back in the early 2000s, it wasn't really until the 2010s and after the popularisation of creepypasta that ARGs really got a lot of attention. It's much more likely that "xxxxxxx" was a vid eo the account creator liked a lot and recorded it to put on youtube, this was far more common practice back in the day than ARGs.

I remember back in the 00s, my Wal-mart’s “pop-culture shirt section” had a ton of t-shirts with these “gangsta-ized” parodies of popular cartoon characters. I can remember Bugs Bunny, Taz, and maybe even this SpongeBob? Even as a kid, I knew these weren’t official, just because of how off-brand they were, but I never was curious enough to know what company made them.

You can confirm this is what he meant because he says that he's surprised that the post is still up after all this time, the post being the one uploaded to CZcams.
It's worth mentioning that an older channel having a video thumbnail as it's pfp isn't really unusual. CZcams used to have a built in function which would allow users to easily set their latest vid's thumbnail as their pfp.

There were lots and lots of club songs of that style then cut only on vinyl in limited releases or just on demo tapes, as it was cheaper than ever then to produce it and trying to promote it in local clubs or local radio stations. This sounds like someone recorded it from the radio back then and at some point uploaded it, maybe in some compilation on Napster or Kazaa in the early 2000's (I remember randomly downloading some of similar material back then, in folders with unnamed music files). I bet there are hundreds of songs from that era that no-one heard in decades, because no-one cared to transfer them into digital.

The septulpe X Christmas themed video reeks of Flash animation to me.
Not that it couldn't be an original video clip edited together, but chances are it was originally made in Flash a few years prior to the CZcams upload. Flash was easier for that kind of animation. CZcams was still in its infancy back then and was just starting to gain popularity, so someone probably converted a "funny" flash animation to a video and uploaded it.

Nobody knows who they are, since they have always wore eyeball masks, top hats and tuxes. Their stuff is worth checking out. Ever since I've randomly found this video on r/DeepIntoCZcams, I wanna know more about it, because how strange and eerie it is.
When I was a kid visiting Amsterdam with family around 2005 at night there was a very strange animated program on one of the local TV channels. It was an approx hour long fever dream random psychedelic surrealistic animation entirely drawn on an Amiga computer or MS Paint. The artist had deliberately given everything a creepy lofi ms paint look and there was weird lofi Amiga music and sounds but not much dialogue. I'd love to see it again if anyone can help me find this surreal psychedelic Dutch Amiga animation masterpiece. My brother and I both remember it the same and have never found anything on it online. It was likely some student art project and it was very surreal, creepy and fascinating. It had to have taken someone hundreds if not thousands of hours to make due to the length and complexity.
The gangster spongebob reminds me of a SpongeBob address book I had growing up, where they were riding motorcycles and looked all evil and insane. I just looked it up and found the book (or at least an image of the cover), it was apparently from "Martin Designs inc.". The only thing I can find is apparently they were recalled for a lead paint violation. I'm not entirely sure if the book was an official Nickelodeon product, but I wonder if the gangster spongebob was originally part of some obscure product line like a notebook, book cover or something else.
Edit: I dug around and found the book, it has all the logos and legal stuff to indicate it is an actual official Spongebob product. It's just a little strange that such distinct designs that someone put some effort into were seemingly only used on an address book of all things.

That gangster Spongebob definitely dates back before 2007. I remember seeing it all over Myspace in 2005/2006, when I joined.
Back in 2003-05, I used to hang out in Gatlinburg, TN, and my friend Brian worked as an artist in a caricature shop in the Mountain Mall, and they had a Gangsta SpongeBob that one of them drew on the wall of the shop. The owner was a woman named Laurie. I don't know which one drew it, or if it's the exact picture you're talking about, but I remember a Gangsta SpongeBob hanging in the shop.

On the topic of lostwave, there's a song that I can't seem to find. I think it was called "End of the Beginning", it had a static US flag low-quality image on it, and it was a somewhat tense and melancholic piano piece of low audio quality from 10 years ago or more (as of writing this), with a length of 1 min and some seconds.
I think I first heard it on TV (on a available-by-default music channel that only showed audio and song data) and it DID show an author (but I can't remember them) and afterwards after googling it I found it on youtube on a small channel with few vids and few subscribers. I downloaded the song but I deleted it because I got tired of hearing it and wanted to make space for other songs.
But I've recently had a desire to see the video again (in fear of forgetting the song), although unfortunately no matter how much I google it or search it on other sites like CZcams, I can no longer find it, at least I would like to know if the audio still exist or not.
So, just in case anyone's interested. I'll still keep looking for the song regardless. Sorry for the walls of text.😅

i have 1000% seen this picture before 2007. it was a pretty big meme on myspace around 2006. i'd say your best bet for finding the creator would be looking there, but when they got bought out, they wiped literally everything to turn it into whatever it is now, so that's impossible unfortunately. probably also the reason why the first known sighting of it would be the youtube video.
