  • In this episode, the beast, the harlot and the woman will be explained. These are three of the key characters in the Book of Revelation, and many have tried to identify their true characters and symbology.
How can we identify the beast and the harlot? What about the woman? It is important to understand their roles as we rapidly approach the end times, and we see things unfolding in an unprecedented manner.

Thank you for clarifying - Looking at world events , I assumed the ten heads would form first- then they would elect the anti Christ as world leader- but this makes more sense in light of the scriptures . This is why we cannot interpret scripture by current events ( or movies we have seen 😘) but interpret Scripture by scripture , and assess current events as they occur.

The beast is a leader as well as a kingdom. Also, there is nothing that says that the 4th empire being located in Europe. It specifically says that it will conquer the prior three empires so it is a Middle Eastern empire like the ottoman empire and that is what it is mostly talking about, a revived islamic caliphate in the last days.

On my journey into understanding the word of Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, I have learnt many things, and they all manifest themselves into a wonderful science called, Righteousness. It is so deep and so profound that perhaps it's best retained for the time when the 144000 are free to speak to their congregations about them. It's really quite amazing but the most recent link into that science is the understanding behind circumcision. It encapsulates an internal body wash that soothes and calms much of our inner turmoil...but we don't need to concern ourselves with the complexities of the science...just follow the accurate teaching of Yeshua/Jesus Christ and then we are living that science.

    Truth.....
Really as written the "End of the matter"!
    Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear GoD, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For GoD shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
The law written by YHWH our Elohim (GoD) written once in stone should be written within our hearts!
    2 Corinthians 3:3
clearly you are an epistle of Messiah, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living GoD, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
    The Greatest Commandment.
Love GoD our Father with all our heart ,mind and soul.
    -17 NKJV)
1 “I am the Lord your God (YHWH your Elohim), who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.
3 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
5 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
    6 “You shall not murder.
7 “You shall not commit adultery.
    8 “You shall not steal.
9 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.”

The second error Dr. Baruch makes is to associate the seven heads of the Beast of Revelation 17:10 with different time periods, and not kings ("basileus" = king, ruler etc).
The kings were in fact, the seven Roman emperors (five had fallen, the one who "is" at that time being Nero, the next Galba, who's reign was short).
To add further weight to this argument, the seven heads also represented seven hills or mountains (same word in the ancient Greek), which links the beast with the city of Rome.

The fourth error I shall deal with is that of the "Man of Lawlessness" mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2. He is described as someone who would sit in the "Temple of God", which could either refer to the temple which existed in Jerusalem at the time, or the spiritual temple, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 3:16.
It could certainly not however, refer to an as yet third stone temple built in Jerusalem. Why? because such an abonimation would NOT be the Temple of God. If such a temple were ever built, it would be done so in complete rejection of Christ's one and only sacrifice (see Hebrews 7:26-27).
No further comment need be added apart from this. The Thessalonians were being persecuted (see Chapter 1:4-10), and had been fooled into thinking that Christ had already returned (see Chapter 2). The question which should naturally arise is this: How could they believe such after being instructed personally by St Paul himself? (see verse 5). Could it be that Paul had told them that the return of Christ was spiritual, and not physical, as is almost universally taught today? (see 1 Corinthians 15:45)

Eze 38:2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Eze 38:3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
Meshech and Tubal were located in ancient Turkey. Gog will arise from Turkey. Turkey is what is left from the old Ottoman Empire who was the last empire to rule over Israel. They are currently trying to revive the old Ottoman Empire to rule over the middle east once again. Financial ruin might be the trigger to accelerate this move from Turkey.
Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
The "one is" was the Roman empire during the time this was written. The Ottoman Empire defeated the Roman Empire in 1453 so was number 7. The 8th is of the 7 so Turkey qualifies to be the 8th.
Constantinople was built by Constantine and called New Rome. It is now called Istanbul and was actually built on 7 hills while Rome wasn't founded on 7 hills. Istanbul is located in modern Turkey.
    Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Pergamos is located in Turkey as well. Mystery Babylon started with Nimrod and has been passed through all the empires talked about by Daniel throughout the ages. Turkey is pretty much centered in all those ancient empires Daniel speaks of. Watch Turkey my friends.
Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
Eze 38:18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
God spoke of Gog in the writings of the prophets. Just search the prophets writings and look for a war in Israel where God defeats the invaders and Israel returns to Him forever after. That is the story of Gog the Lord is referring to. Gog will soon be on the rise and the economic turmoil just may be the trigger.
    Peace,
    SF

Respectfully, I think that the Beast empire will not be a One-World government. There will be no one-world government until the Lord takes the throne of David. The word translated "world" refers to the land. In this case, the lands of the Middle east and North Africa. The Bible prophesies wars and battles and rebellions right up until the time the Lord returns.
    Rome/Europe cannot be Daniel's 4th Beast.
    1) Rome never completely demolished the first three empires. Daniel 7:7 shows that the 4th Beast absolutely devours and crushes the residue. Rome conquered but it also built up the lands it conquered. it made the roads and allowed the culture to remain. It even let them have their own religion, if they also acknowledged the emperor. Islam destroyed and wiped out the culture of the lands it ate up.
    2) Rev 13:1-2 shows the Beast is made up of the bodies of the first three beasts (Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Assyria.) The final Beast will occupy the lands once controlled by the first three empires. Rome never conquered it all. It failed to take the lands of Babylon. It made slight inroads into Babylon for a very few months before withdrawing. Today Rome (and Europe) owns none of those lands. Islam controls them all.
    3) The lands listed in the prophesies state that the final Best will arise from Assyria (Isa 10: 5-12) and Magog. Ezekiel 38: 1-6. Both lands are in modern Turkey. The "Russia is Magog" idea has been disproven by the documents from Assyria dating back to the time of Ezekiel. The older records of Josephus also show how that was misinterpreted to make Magog seem to be in Russia.
Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Togarmah are all in modern Turkey. Persia is Iran (which is presently amassing troops on the northern border of Israel, backed by Turk money.) Libya and Ethiopia have changed since the prophesies were written. They are all in North Africa, and under Muslim control. Egypt is not listed as a land that will join the Beast but is attacked by it.
    3) Rome was the 6th head/hill of Rev 17: 9-13. As such, it could not also be the 7th and 8th. The five were fallen. The 6th was in power at the time of the vision. That is Rome. The 7th followed the 6th. It is not listing 7/8 kings, but kingdoms. (The idea that it is 7 popes or emperors falls apart on its face since nobody knows or agrees on who the 7 could be. Also, the kings and kingdoms are used interchangeably in the prophesies. Babylon was the first kingdom in Daniel, but Daniel told the king that he was the head of gold. The beasts are all empires, but the final beast is also identified as the man who leads the empire. (Just like King Charles' oldest son's last name is about to be changed to Wales as he assumes the position of Prince of Wales. We say, "Putin invaded Ukraine." We also say, "Russia invaded Ukraine." Both are true. The ruler assumes the identity of the realm.)
Imperial Rome did not revive as the 7th and then revive again in the last final days as the 8th. If 6, 7, and 8 were all Rome, the vision would not make 6 and 7 distinct from one another. The passage says that the 7th becomes the 8th in the end as it revives; but it does not say the same of the 6th and 7th. Also, in Nebuchadnezzar's dream the legs did not change character or become a new metal as it became the feet, but there was a distinct division between the legs and feet. The same empire, a new revival of it. Rome and Europe share none of the characteristics of Imperial Rome. They have a different religion, political system, and laws. Islam never changed character or behaviors. It uses the very same tactics it used when it devoured the Middle East and beyond.
    4) Daniel chapter 2. The 4 empires in Daniel are Middle Eastern, which is the center of the biblical world. The king is shown the empires that will follow *him*. The ones that would eat up the lands Nebuchadnezzar controlled at the time of the vision.
    5) The 4th Beast of Daniel 7 is the Beast of Rev. The Beast in both books comes from the Sea. The sea represents gentile people, lands, and ethnicities (Rev 17:15.) In Daniel 7:2 the sea is called "The Great Sea." The Bible uses the term "Great Sea" to refer to the Mediterranean Sea (Num 34: 6-7, Jos 1:4,9.) The Beast will arise from the gentile lands and peoples around the Mediterranean Sea.
Since we know that the Beasts of Daniel and Rev are the Antichrist powers, the 4th Beast of Daniel 7 is the same as the 8th head/Hill of Rev 17. So, it came after Rome. It was the Ottoman empire/Islamic Caliphate. No other empire followed Rome in the region.
    5) Rome was not divided from the start. Islam was. (Daniel 2: 33 the last empire is seen as 2 legs. divided. Islam was always a divided power, since the death of Mohammed. The Sunnis and Shi'ites remain enemies, though they work together against those they hate more (Christians and Jews.) The legs are iron. Together but divided. The feet are mixed with clay. They do not stick together well. There is deep dislike between the factions. There are more nationalities under Muslim control today as well. The feet are a continuation of the legs, but not the exact same empire. it revives in the end. (As Rev 17 says the 7th head becomes the 8th, and the Beast receives a mortal wound but revives.)
    6) Rome today bears no relationship to imperial Rome. It is a different creature.
The Islamic Caliphate being revived today under the direction of Turkey, has the same character, religion, hatreds, and behaviors as the ancient Ottoman/Islamic Caliphate.
    7) When the Lord destroys the Antichrist all 4 of the empires of Nebuchadnezzar's dream are destroyed in the same instant. (Daniel 2: 34-35) If Rome and/or the EU were destroyed today the lands that were once Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Assyria/Levan would be unaffected, except for the small part of Levan/Assyria which is in modern Greece.
    8) The Antichrist will behead those who refuse the mark which shows acceptance of the beast religion. Rome never forced conversion by beheading. Islam still does.
    9) The Beast is a religious as well as military and political force. I will not cite every scripture that points this out, but the phrase "worship the Beast," the title "Antichrist," and the Harlot religion that the rides the Beast are proof of this. Religious Rome is antichrist by one definition (pope and priests as substitute Christs) but Islam is antichrist by both definitions. It denies the deity of Jesus and it is awaiting a substitute Christ in the person of "Al Mahdi." It is also awaiting their false prophet, whom they call "Issa." He is their version of Jesus.
    10) The Beast will attack Israel. (Ezekiel 38) Rome has neither the will nor the power to destroy Israel. Islam has both.
    11) Rev 16:12 says the Euphrates will dry to make it easier for the kings of the east to attack. Rome has no ability to dry up the Euphrates River. Turkey controls the Ataturk Dam and has already used it to cut water from the Euphrates to harm Syria. It is expected that Erdogan will use it again in case of war.
    12) The Harlot: Rev 17 and 18 show the destruction of the city that is the "Mother" of harlot religions. ("Mother of all ..." is a middle eastern idiom meaning the greatest.) The Beast destroys the harlot desert city. Mecca is called the "Mother of Islam." It has the most visited idol on earth today. Turkey and Saudi Arabia do not get along at all. The Muslim prophets have actually said that Turkey will destroy Mecca in the end days. Today Turkey and Mecca are working together to export radical Islam to the world. We have a brand -new minaret a few miles from my home, curtesy of Mecca and Turkey. A minaret is an image (a thing made of wood, stone, or metal that represents a god/goddess/religion/nation) that speaks several times a day and when it speaks all who hear must bow and recite a prayer to Allah. Rev 13:15.

The first error Dr. Baruch makes is that he is unspecific about the identity of the fourth beast of Daniel 7, describing it as some European empire, and not as the pagan Roman Empire of ancient times (just like the other three were).
This fourth beast was to cover the whole earth ("ara" equivalent to Hebrew "eres" = land, earth) according to Daniel 7:23. This is where the false notion of a "one world govermnent" comes from, and is then misapplied to the Beast of Revelation 17.
What those who espouse this view neglect to mention is that this description also applies to the Greek Empire of Daniel 2:39 (which corresponds to the third beast of Daniel 7). We know that the Greek Empire didn't cover the entire globe, so why should the fourth, and therefore why should the Beast of Revelation be a future one world government?

  • @ThePreterist
    @ThePreterist Před 2 lety +1

The third error Dr. Baruch makes is to associate the modern day State of Israel with the "Last Days" of Old Covenant Israel, misapplying the famous Matthew 23:39 verse to an as yet future occurence.
No, Jesus was referring to Israel's *Old Covenant* Feast Days, where the pilgrims would sing the "Song of Ascents" on their way up to Jerusalem, among them Psalms 118:
26 *Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!* We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. 27 God is the Lord, and He has given us light; *bind the sacrifice* with cords to the *horns of the altar.*
Another point to note that Jesus quotes from verse 22-23 of Psalms 118 when addressing the Scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 21:
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: *‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.* This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 “Therefore I say to you, *the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.*
Matthew 21:23 to 23:39 deals with Jesus prophesying *against* apostate Judah, not rescuing them (the righteous saints of Judah and dispersed Israel became the first "Christians")
