That parody of the Ready Player One narration is the most hilariously spot on thing I've seen in ages.
HOLY SHIT, what started out as a silly 80s movie trailer voice morphed into an uncannily similar impression of Peter Cullin! Add whatever robot overlay they used in the original series and you could potentially pass as a dead ringer.

The G1 style packaging really was the best, wasn't it? Not saying this out of nostalgia, it's just genuinely more eye-catching and distinctive than the modern line boxes are. You can's possibly mistake a G1 box for anything else.

The paints used in the custom transformers Thew received were too thick and goopy. They obscured details, looked shoddy, and judging by what he did when he handled them, felt nasty.
Thinning paints before applying them would solve this problem.
I'm a former art student and I never thought of that! Something to keep in mind next time I do a customization lol

Before this was released, I was working on my own version of this concept. It was using the titans return Chromedome. The headmaster was Marty, also had an alternate head that was painted like Doc Brown.

Last time I saw Zavvi branding anywhere, the Titanium Series was the latest big thing in Transformers.
I actually likes MP-05 more than MP-36 since at least it was designed to actually transform and be handled and won't rub paints off itself from just being handled.
Also, that bigger gun mode makes it feel like an automag or similar powerful weapon.

Love the RP1 book so much. It's like junkfood. It's not good for you, but it tastes great and goes down so easy.
The movie was a fun romp as well, just not as special as the book.

About Kremzeek..... I love the original episode and it's always nice when it gets referenced. It's neat that one came with the Refraktor 3 pack I got, but I doubt I'd buy a figure of it by itself

With the crossovers expanding beyond Marvel and Starwars, and the RotF studio series Megatron, I def want something from Mad Max. Road Warrior, Beyond The Thunderdome, and Fury Road all have really good options.
Hopefully they'd retool the heck out of that SS DOTM Megatron for the Fury Road tanker. Thematically it should probably be a beefier femme bot along the lines of Strongarm, Pyra Magna. Strika and Clobber. With a suitably Mad Max name that may also double as a vague Norse mythology reference.
Though while they're at it, they could make Gigawatt Prime out of Siege/Earthrise Astrotrain as a BttF 3 thing.
Maybe hit that Godzilla v Kong movie license with retooled SS Grimlock and SS Starscream figures.
Top it off with a Fast and Furious combiner.
Then annoy everyone with Lord of the Rings Sauron/Ring Wraith retool of Hun-Gurr and Hobbit Smaug that is a TLK Dragonstorm heavy retool.
I'm just re-watching your video to see how yours came packed. It looks like they did you right Thew! For me, they used a box that was way too small, so they straight up folded the panel above the box all the way back onto itself then shipped it like that so there a massive crease that runs across it now. Also one of the corners of that tab was also bent on top of the fold. Its a bit of a bummer, since the box is part of the allure of this item. I may reach out to them just to say.. Hey mate, be collector friendly and use a larger box for shipping, so you don't have to ruin the box/package. It did arrive super quick especially for a US delivery... Hopefully others get a package job more like yours!

Funny you should mention the movie cars transformer combiner thing. I'm a parts engineer and Transformer collector who had quite a "light workload" this year so I have spent most of my free time designing just that. Although it will be 3D printable. Still only got about halfway done with 3 more to go.
No 007 cars however, depending on how this turns out and how next year goes I might do a set of them next.
