The Lithuanian LTG train was made by Pesa Bydgoszcz, Poland. Beautiful movie, really nice views. I didn't know it stops even in Sokółka. I was in Vilnius last month, it took us 6,5 hours from Warsaw by car and one could realize how far towards North-Eeast Poland reached before the WW2. Really amazing. Vilnius is charming, it has something that deeply touches your heart and you can experience it after a while, for me it was when I came back home and watched my photos.

Thank you very much for your comment. Every time I take a train from Bydgoszcz to Gdańsk or Warsaw I pass the PESA factory. I am glad you enjoyed Vilnius as much as I did 😊.

Do you know that the Polish railways (various companies) each week carry more passengers than the Lithuanian railways in the whole year (some 5 million vs. 350 million) ?

I am not surprised especially if we take into account the population of each country but also the rail networks size and access to them.

      Poland population 38 milion
      Lithuania population 2,8 milion
      Why you are surprised?

In Lithuania we use more busses than trains for moving around country........
Where more train passengers are in one route Vilnius-Kaunas-Siauliai-Klaipeda.............

You can buy ticket online from the PKP Intercity web page or from a ticket office. I am not sure if you can buy it from a ticket machines though. I think you can buy from the Lithuanian Railways web page as well.
