    The numa 4 and the scorpion x2 are my daily drivers the numa can do everything I need it to do including gray wash but I still prefer the x2 for that. Great vid as always

    I’m so glad you brought up something about using a power supply after using batteries consistently for power. I had the same experience the other day . But I’m not sure if it’s just in my head???

    Hi ! Thank you for this review ! As usual :)
    Do you plan to make a review about the Ai Tenitas Prophet pen ? I’m intrigue about it, don’t know if just their marketing is good or if the machine is really nice, like many people seem to say ahah ! Your advice would be interested :)

    how do you compare these to Bishop Wand packer/liner

    • @ScalpEstetic
      @ScalpEstetic Před rokem

      This is like having all the Bishop Wands and more. As it’s like having like 30 different machines. I have it and love it. But the only downside is that Neuma doesn’t have disposable grips yet. But they’re working on that.

    It's definitely not a placebo brother.. I can't use batteries because of how noticeable to me it is. All about amperage brother. Torque!

    Im wondering if you have delved into the world of small basically unknown machine builders? I’ve been using mainstream machines for a long time but have started wondering about how many amazing machines there may be out there doing there own thing with small followings but quality machines. I’ve come across a lot of hybrid style rotary machine builders and may take the risk and purchase a couple that I’ve been able to find a couple reviews from. Be interested to know if you’ve ever purchased from relatively unknown builders trying to find a diamond in the rough.

      I’ve looked into a few companies but it’s really difficult to find ones that’s are decent. One independent company I would highly recommend is a owned friend of mine, rotary works. They are a small Tattooer owned company machines are really well priced and so the job, no gimmicks etc.
      Other independent company’s Ive been put off by cause some will sell a machine for £800 but the motor in the machine is a £2 Chinese motor, so in cases like that there’s no point in spending £800. We will be looking into more machines throughout the year.

      @@bigtm6216 My Neuma 4 broke twice as well. They fixed it for free but I paid shipping. It has a steel pin glued to the aluminum body which falls out. The new steel bodies (macro, modus, steel n4) have the pin welded in place so it shouldn't break anymore.

    So expensive, or a lot of money at least.
    I have a €250 wireless machine, i wonder how much better these are really.
    But i get it, if you are good at it, do it a lot, make enough money, i can see the use.
    I am just starting, and it took me a lot of time to gather the money for the basic stuff, so stuff like this is simply not an option for me, and likely won't be for quite some time.

    • @ThatTattooShow
      @ThatTattooShow  Před rokem

      It all depends on where you are getting stuff from and who makes it. I think when it comes to a lot of machines on Amazon that are cheap they aren’t made for professionals. Something like a Neuma 4 is made by professional Tattooer’s for professionals. At the same time you can also find cheaper machines that are made by professional tattooists and are very good.

    • @gabiballetje
      @gabiballetje Před rokem

      @@ThatTattooShow sure, but if my entire budget is like $600, for machine, needles, ink, gloves, covers, alcohol, green soap, stencils, and so on, those machines are often just not an option whatsoever. You can mostly afford them after you’re good enough to have been making some money for a while.

  • @ScalpEstetic

    Y hard hitting you mean it has a lot of torque

    • @ThatTattooShow
      @ThatTattooShow  Před rokem

      The hard hit is in relation not only to torque but the stroke lengths, stroke profile and if an ali or brass bearing is used. I have used machines that have a lot of torque but also don’t feel like it’s hard hitting due to the mechanisms used.
