I have a 7150 and a 7140. I use them to run pull type 1682 Case combine (should tell you there that I'm a Canadian lol) and also pull type Flexi Coil 67 sprayer. Excellent starting tractors and tons of both PTO and drawbar power. Use one or the other to run pull type swather too. Used to pull a smaller single shoot air drill with the 7150 but sold the drill, bought a double shoot 40' Morris air drill and bought a Versatile 976 to pull it. Magnums are excellent tractors.

Forgot to say, turn the key to the lightning bolt and that'll display your hours.

I operated a 7150 and a 7240. Both were MFWD. Nice tractors to run.

Isn´t the dashboard ahead of its time with all these digital instruments? I mean we are talking 29 years ago

Case IH was always ahead of the curve haha. 1995 they got with Trimble and started the first ever Autoguidance that would come in the 8940s. just not many people had the setup.

@@godliket5092 Did all the 89 series come with the autoguidance ?

Even the 94 series before that (2094, 2294, 2394, 2594) had a similar digital dash. Even compare the white Cases (2090, 2290, 2390, 2590) before that and their dashes were much nicer than similar-era JD, and no stupid bar in the middle of the windshield neither haha.

I remember when we took delivery on 2 of these I was 7 years old... Loved riding in it with Dad or Grandpa..... Got tired of driving it when I was 11 though haha.

You have to turn the key backwards

The "Engine Hours" button was introduced on the 7200 series in 1993 where the "Case IH" logo was beneath the "Ground Speed" button.

oh ok this is a 1988 7140 i am sure it has it i think

+Tyler Our 1992 7120 didn't even come with it - had to turn the key to "Accessories" to check the hours. One thing's for sure though, if the "ACC" appeared on the top screen and the hours appeared on the bottom screen when the key was switched on ready to start - you knew not to start it because the engine would simply stop after 2 seconds.

+Tyler if I remember correctly the dash light on the "Magnum" logo, the gear display on the bottom screen and the 3rd and 4th reverse gears came along in 1989, the better engine block in 1991, "Engine Hours" button in 1993 among other things and the PTO swtich that replaced the PTO lever in 1995 possibly 96 very late in the 7200 series run.
