I’ve my card protector since I went to my first poker amateur club while ago when I was living in France, I don’t use it much when I’m playing but I try to use it more often, at least I’m bringing on me haha
When I got out of the Marine Corps after serving 10 years I was given a Marine Corps challenge coin. Since I been playing poker I use that challenge coin as my card protector. Your videos actually inspired me to start playing poker again. I loved your mudkip card protector, so as a nod to the OG, I use a Gengar card protector (but recently started mixing in a Psyduck as well to keep things fresh)
Never used a card protector myself but think it’s a fun way to show a bit of character and spice up the dynamics of the table!
If you're ever at Cherokee and see and find yourself at a table with a five inch tall silver giraffe card protector to your left, get up and leave. That 90 year old lady looks nice but is ruthless at poker. Cheers Wofgang

True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $80k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.

One time about ten years ago I was playing 1/2 and sitting in seat 9. I get delt pocket 9s and flop quads. I’m first to act and bet $50 dealer pushes my chip back and said I fold my cards. I look down and the dealer had scooped my cards and folded me pre flop. Never in my life have I been so mad to not have used a card protector. Since that day I’ll always use a card protector even if it’s just a chip. Hard lesson to learn. Not to mention that pot ended up being like $500 smh

I enjoy a card protector. I have a Rampage one for when I feel like punting. I have one of those Aces magnetic ones that clicks when you slide it. And I enjoy using a bottle cap as the dealers love to hit it and make it bounce around.

I use a polished rock (palm stone) and have various types that I rotate for card protection. It also serves as a fidget to avoid overly touching dirty chips.

Being a Soldier and poker player I love using my challenge coins as my card protectors. It provides not only protection from accidental mucking but also a conversation piece to veterans and non vets alike. Especially when the see a 4 Star General coin! Plus if my coin beats their coin that’s a free drink as well!!

Using a card protector could be a tell (depending of how you use it) but also a reverse tell, if you are a good enough actor to use it to your advantage. I usually don't use them, as sometimes it distract my focus on the table action.

One of my favorite card protectors that I own is a small glass blown chicken that I got in Massachusetts. That little fella has definitely given me some good luck over the years and I won’t stop using him any time soon!
I've seen all types of card protectors. I use them as a way to start a convo with someone who is either too serious, or not having fun, lossens them up, sometimes get them to go easier on me if I'm not an enemy

Hey I saw in a previous video that now you have twin card protectors. I recall a 12 inch tall rooster that a player had as a card protector on the final table. He got excited about the flop, bumped the rooster and broke it in half. It fell to the felt like a broken toy. pretty hard to forget that one.

My first Card Protector was a knight piece from a uncomplete chess set i found and then I retired that and used a 20 sided die for awhile until I lost it 😂

The first card protector I used was a jordan shoe from a keychain. Once i mucked it with my cards and they were like"you want to give away the shoe too" and I was like noooooo lol

I actually got my card protector because of you, I use a sleeping Treecko I put on my left card and leave my one of the right underneath and slightly out to the right. Whenever I use him though I tend to not do very well lol
My favorite card protector is a silver coin from Mexico. I have it encased in a plastic coin protector. I don't think it's worth very much, but I found it in a hotel room in Gallup, NM 22 years ago and have kept itt ever since.

I actually use a Rampage Poker card protector I bought like three years ago. I learned about Wolfgang watching one of rampage's vlogs. I've been hooked ever since. I love watching all the vloggers because I just love the game so much. Keep it up Wolfgang! I would love to be considered for this because it would get my bankroll going.

Felt like a million bucks when I got my first card protector. It was a gift from the casino. It had two sides obviously so I kept changing them back and forth to see which side I ran better on. I actually thought I was onto something but then just started running terribly on both sides. I haven't played with a card protector since! This was like 9 months ago.
I never felt the need to use a card protector but I noticed certain habits i do to my whole cards when I have a strong hand preflop. Maybe I should get one just so I don’t fidget with my cards
I don't use a card protector, but someone I play with uses a card protector almost larger than her cards. I think I will buy one soon, kind of tempted to get the lucky guard one if they had a queen design I would for sure.

I don’t use card protectors, but def use them as a tell. Lot of people protect checking cards pre or don’t protect if they’re going to fold. Plus the nicer they are to their protector, the more they like their hand. It’s more like what is their ritual?

For quite some time I had a Rampage Luck Box card protector, but I left it behind after a tourney one day. So I went to a jar of foreign coins I have, and it turns out that a UK 5 pound coin is the exact size of a chip. Been my protector ever since.
