Honestly, i love her fighting style. She doesn't seem to be as rash and reckless as the other Viltrumites. She seems to be really methodical. She's always analyzing the fight.

Rash vs Methodical seems to be the animation style for weak vs Strong. Omniman fought like that against Mark as well. Even though he was fighting more rash and aggressively towards other Viltrumites. Anisa was also fighting more aggressively towards Alan

Mark was able to hold his own against that female Viltrumite in Thaxa pretty well, but here he’s just outclassed in every single way. Thragg must be pretty much DCEU superman level.

@@li-limandragon9287 I agree but that wouldn't work for this story. The comic makes a point this isn't a typical super hero story (what with the whole intergalatic scale of things). Everyone in this story (including mark) does things that are reprehensible. The point that consistently comes up is the idea that everyone no matter there past, is capable of change. Thinnk of the billions of people Nolan has killed and conquered but he is unambiguously a good guy be the end of the story. What Anissa did is horrible but just like the rest of the viltrimites she changes and becomes a better person. If she was simply punshied with no redemption then she wouldn't have been at the last battle and saved Eve's life. When you think about it, only people like Thragg and rex (those who can't or refuse to change) are the ones shown to be big bad villains. The point is giving people a chance to do good in the future is in theory better then ending them now. Also applying earth morality to a cosmic stage just doesn't work (Nolan hates anissa for what she did but mentions to mark that in terms of viltrimite culture, its the norm).

Driving a boy (Roxas) into suicide, taking advantage of him being at his lowest point, instead of trying to explain things to him, is a premise based on abuse. The fact he experienced this with Ansem, fought to get rid of him, and still let DiZ go through with it is telling.
And yes. Naminé and Nomura'a attempts at justifying it are as worthless as "KH 3", "Coded" and "DDD" put together.
