- League Winner or Bust? - POLARIZING QB's for 2024 Fantasy Football
In today's episode I go over 5 quarterbacks that people in the community have deemed league winners! I share my thoughts on these QB's in the context of their current ADP, and if I think they're more likely to bust than become a league winner.

You need to be drafting more than one QB if you draft either Anthony Richardson or Kyler Murray. Try to put a safety net under your fantasy team in case either is a bust.
I think it depends. Like would you rather draft Geno as a backup and not get to take someone like Ray Davis as a RB flier. Or take the flier and stream if one gets hurt. Don’t think there’s a correct answer, but taking the RB flier does open up more upside
We did a dynasty startup superflex. I went a rich and Kyler. It just made sense given value/ceiling
@@FantasyFootballAdviceFFA My league hordes QBs. Some of the guys have 3 qbs on the roster. Strictly to punish a team with a qb injury. I'd rather have that extra roster spot personally, but to each their own.
I've liked taking one of these guys and pairing with someone like Caleb Williams later.
Not really; especially in redraft. Last year CJ Stroud was on the waiver wire as an example. In BB when I take these guys I take two more QBs
Liking n commenting bc I'm looking forward to winning b2b FF seasons! Tysm for the content and hardwork
I had a new guy in my league auto draft, qued up qbs before going on auto, got Allen and Herbert 1.10 1.11 before he figured out what he did, drafted a team we all would’ve laughed at last year before the season, lost Dobbins for the year, quit playing after week 3, some how snuck into the last playoff spot, won the chip…. And here we all are again doing research and trying like a bunch of amateurs 😂
The odds still aren't on the side of auto drafters.
@@joeraguso5376 lol that’s the thing. I’m leaving out some details because it’s hard to even put into words how astronomically LOW the odds were of him winning with the team he drafted and the way he drafted it. Made two waiver moves all year, dropped San Fran for Mostert before the season (had Baltimore on bench via auto draft) and Njoku. Had to win 4 weeks in a row and certain teams needed to lose key match ups to even have a shot at a playoff spot, won all the weeks and two of them with 3 bye players or injured players in line up but still won the key match ups despite not getting over 80 points. Just a circus 🫠
That’s not possible if everyone else is active and making waiver claims in the league
@@RMTmusic1-mv1jhhis league is terrible bro
@@RMTmusic1-mv1jh what isn’t possible? He made 1 waiver claim to start the year by getting mostert. Then as commish after he ghosted his team I took over just to make sure he had a full roster (no match or roster decisions just full healthy line up with who he drafted) then his only TE got hurt and I picked up Njoku before he got hot. He only made 2 waiver picks all year. I can’t make this up 😅 I understand skepticism trust me, I stared at a wall for days after losing the chip trying to figure out what went wrong 😂
I'm playing around w/using a zero RB draft strategy again this year. It failed last year simply due to injuries. You've got me interest in Richardson. Will be watching him closely pre season. 🤔
I'd be down with a video on late round tight ends. I've been thinking double dipping on Bowers and Musgrave is a solid move
Forgot to mention dynasty. This year I agree completely. Just got the vibe Nabers has that premature wr characteristics
Great video, Nick
I just like your thumbnail 😅
Hi Nick , Could you do mid-rounds QB comparisson for 1 QB leagues?
Like:
Dak-Burrow-Love
Caleb-Lawrence-Goff
my goat back at it again 🐐
i have pick 1.01 in my superflex (no regular flex) league. what QB am i going with? I am torn between Mahomes, Hurts and Allen. Eventho my dream QB this season is Stroud or Richardson.
Maybe u could trade back ? If not, any of those top 3 are great picks. My lean would be hurts
First comment! I have had a lot of success in past years with waiting on QB
same. my best seasons is when I grab my starting QB in round 10 or later. Dak has been a great value pick these past few years. This year, don't think he will drop that far.
@@tonyscaccia743wait on Brock purdy. He isn’t going to win a beauty pageant but he will be a top 12 fantasy qb
I agree on not taking him where he is, but that is only because I don't believe in taking a QB at that time. I do agree with ranking him at the top of the QBs. Allen will ball out this year like he does every year. They will surprise you. Bet
I don't know if it's generous saying richardson misses half season he has played 4 pro games left injured in 3
Herbert is going to shock people this year. They went out and got a beast OL upgrade to protect him. I bet he balls out and even has more designed runs. Not worried about losing Allen & Williams, the youth will rise and make a solid receiving core. Top 10 finish.
I will note that one of their best lineman retired recently which they were not expecting
@FantasyFootballAdviceFFA They absolutely were expecting Linsley to retire. Every single person that actually follows the chargers has known it was coming for months...
Or pick up Bryce young (top 10 QB this year) for free off waivers 🔥🔥
I took Odunze over Nabers. Thoughts?
Not terrible but depending on ADP Nabers may be a better value. He has zero target competition. Odunze has Keenan, DJ Moore, Cmet, not to mention Swift getting TDs.
Bears would have to have one of the most productive offenses in the league for Odunze to thrive.
I’m also aware Nabers TD upside is very limited. They will suck bad
Any buy-low QB candidates who could finish top 15?
Baker?
I don’t totally understand the ADP on Geno. Locked in starter, elite weapons and a much more pass heavy game script to be expected
Jayden Daniels
@@FantasyFootballAdviceFFA That's how I feel. He was QB5 in 2022! The various weapons in Seattle should help Geno flourish in Grubb's offense.
@@coryfritz8538 Would love to take Daniels late in my redraft leagues
I can see Jared Goff cracking the top 5 this year.
League commissioners can detour QB hoarding by simply making the benches thin.
That’s no fun though. Then you can’t draft any sleepers late
Josh Allen:
ADP: 22nd overall
Nick's Ranking: 32nd overall
Comment: Nick advises against drafting Allen in the second round due to high opportunity cost. He believes Allen is more of a bust at his ADP but can be a league winner if drafted in the fourth round or later.
Anthony Richardson:
ADP: 53rd overall
Nick's Ranking: 53rd overall
Comment: Richardson is very polarizing, but Nick leans towards him being a league winner. He highlights Richardson's high upside due to his rushing ability and believes he's worth the risk, especially given the depth at quarterback this season.
Kyler Murray:
ADP: 74th overall
Nick's Ranking: 64th overall
Comment: Despite injury concerns, Nick sees Murray's high upside as worth the risk. He emphasizes Murray's past performances and potential to be the number one quarterback this season.
Jayden Daniels:
ADP: 104th overall
Nick's Ranking: 100th overall
Comment: Nick is hesitant about Daniels due to his wide range of outcomes and the uncertainty of his running frequency. He prefers other mid-range quarterbacks and doesn't classify Daniels as a league winner yet.
Justin Herbert:
ADP: 110th overall
Nick's Ranking: 108th overall
Comment: Herbert has been consistent in the past, but Nick is concerned about the Chargers' offensive changes under new coaching. He sees Herbert as a potential bust this season due to a run-heavy scheme and lack of mobility.
Trey McBride is entering year 3…
Richardson is tough, he plays recklessly. Yeah all his rushing upside is good but he exposes himself too much. Getting injured twice in 5 games is def a red flag
Yea and when you draft Richardson you need to double up on qb in the middle rounds. Definitely need a good insurance policy
I've heard reports his shoulder is bothering him. He needs to be 100% before I buy him in my auction this year.
I took Herbert over him in my start up. 1.12
@@XbryceX Idk man coming from a Michigan fan I can tell you the chargers will run the ball. Alot
@@coryfritz8538 I hope not. They have bad RBs too..time will tell
Is no one concerned with the type of hits Daniels took in college? Hopefully he learns to protect himself
I love all this sunshine pumping for Richardson. He could barely finish a season and his style of play is reckless and conducive to injuries. Did anyone even watch his Florida games?
Don't draft him then
Haha, I've been saying this ever since he started, I don't think these guys even watch the players they spew out about.
I'm avoiding him like the plague!
@@noanyobiseniss7462 You will regret avoiding him, especially in best ball drafts 😏
I think people agree about the obvious risk - but he has no doubt the potential to be a top 3 fantasy qb as well. High risk high reward do you want to play it safe and make the playoffs or win your league and get the money
@@Matt-og6qv Well said
JD will be a league winner.
A QB for the redskins aint doing anything 😂
@@devinfusella150 just wait.
Analyst trip me out. Allen loses most his weapons and they all still have Allen QB1. Impossible. Never going to happen. Allen will fall off big time. Setting up Aiyuk to come to Buffalo in 2025. Mark my words. Common sense tells you leave Allen alone. Use it. Dont over think it. Just leave Allen be.
Let’s see how this comment ages
I think you forgot how much Allen runs the ball
Losing most of his weapons is a bit hyperbolic no? Gabe isn’t very good. So he really only lost Diggs while keeping Cook, Kincaid and Shakir
It’s a shame we have so few common sense players like you in my leagues anymore
😂 bro!! Finally! Someone that thinks like me! I’ve been saying the same thing. Bunch of sheep 🐑 bro
How we feel about Will Levis
Fine, but more in deeper leagues. Like I don’t think we’re going to be starting him as a top 10-12 QB. Probably more someone we stream or use in deeper leagues.
