you should have also added that Liz Truss won by promising tax cuts (promised but didn't know anything about economics) which Sunak being experienced former Finance minister who helped England economy to survive in Covid, advised that it was a fairy tale and will bring chaos to the economy and that's what exactly happened. That why he also gained popularity among people as he predicted the chaos.
