He told a story of someone he knows. During Karzai's rule this person lost around 17/18 people from his family, the only person left was his son.
They arranged a meeting for this person to meet Karzai. When Karzai heard his story he cried and gave him 10 000 Afghanis. Back in the village they used to make fun of him & referred to him as the one who sold his family for a small amount of money. This person left Afghanistan & is now living in Punjab.
He also said that Karzai will never be able to live a life of enjoyment, due to atrocities like these, because he was the guy in charge.
„Nevertheless I do respect him and i thank hin that he never left Afghanistan. And if he wished to visit areas of Afghanistan that he couldnt visit before, he can do it now. I'll accompany him and sit together with the people who faced similar challenges".
