Description
Onboard is a free and opensource online whiteboard that is best for teaching math classes online. This is maintained by an organization in Switzerland. In this open board tutorial, I will show you many features of this interactive whiteboard. It has more feature than any other online whiteboard. Another whiteboard that can compete with Openboard is Activeinspire for which I have made a separate video.
Onboard has tons of features and it can be used in many ways and various setups. Open board whiteboard is extremely easy to use. It has math tools, and it can handle documents from within the open board whiteboard application. You can create folders, you can organize documents and images in folders. It has a pen, a highlighter, an eraser, line widths of various thicknesses and erasers of various sizes. you can change the colours of pens. I will demonstrate the use of math tools such as a compass, protractors and ruler.

Just downloaded the Mac version of this app and was wondering if there's a way to resize the OpenBoard work area. Is there? When opened it takes up the entire screen! I'd like to be able to grab a corner with my mouse and drag it to a more manageable size so that I can readily access other open apps on the desktop.

thank you very much for this tutorial. From what you said and from other people's comments, it looks like this fabulous resource is more suitable for primary and middle school students.
A couple of questions for you - can a writing tablet like Wacom be used in conjunction with this whiteboard? Which whiteboard app would have a graphics calculator in its tool kit?
I have many video on Wacom and another 1 or 2 videos on Openboard. One Note is also good for wacom

my view board is the best among all those described by you in your channel. please go through for the benefit of students and teaches. they have given math ink option for equations that the great thing.

Amazing video sir. I would want to display textbooks on this whiteboard so that I can explain the problems in the textbook and along the content in the textbook. I would scribble on the textbook also. I know I will use a Wacom digital pen. But bringing those textbook pdfs on whiteboard and scribbling on them is possible?

Students can write on zoom whiteboard during zoom meeting...not many features but might work
This is a very nice whiteboard and I appreciate your video overview. Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to allow the students I tutor to interact with openboard remotely via a Zoom Meeting. It is a procedure I am doing wrong or is this a limitation with the application?
Allow them to share screen in zoom... and they can write on whiteboard and share their screen!
