There is no shopping mall "3 minutes" from this mansion or Pacific Heights. San Francisco is not home to many shopping malls. That is part of the beauty of this city.

@@ElePranaityte I was also confused by this- I have lived in san francisco my entire life. There's only two malls- Westfield in downtown which is a 15-20 min drive and Stonestown which is far on the south side of the city maybe 25 mins away. The only mall I can think of that they could be talking about is Japantown mall (which is not a very traditional mall) and is 5 minutes away if you did not stop at any stop signs.

Be advised that at a purchase price of 1.7 mil, the annual property tax is about 330.000 dollars. On top of it, there is home owner's insurance, monthly utilities and general upkeep (just keeping the place tidy).

Not a big fan of mixed designs. The home is absolutely beautiful with the French architecture so they should have stayed with the same theme and put French decor and furniture inside. The modern decor is detracting from its beauty.

16 million for a house in sf. Beautiful house. But Blocks from literally homeless encampments. But I'm glad they still represent prominent bay area families and tech titans. Not at all the reason you see home prices sore and people not be able to afford housing unless they inherited rent capped units from relatives. But again who would serve the rich if we don't keep the low income wage earners 1 emergency from pure chaos. How would capitalism survive without those low income earners stuck in the endless loop of rent, work, threat of homelessness, social handouts of food, medical and maybe rental assistance. Because thousands for an apartment in the tenderloin is not where anyone wants to live
