they could give the new character banner's duration to be the entire duration of the patch, and have a rerun for half the patch and another rerun for the other half, this would be a way to balance it
Honestly, I’m okay with them doing 1 new and 2 reruns for a bit. Not only does it let me save my Jade with little pressure and lets me get some characters I missed

I want Hoyoverse Run Rappa the whole patch and have 2-4 rerun with Rappa I think that would be a win win. I think with the duke members thing they did that because people complain about how characters come out of nowhere but i rather that then them drag them out over months/Years.
When we get to/by the time we get to the Greek/Greco-Roman themed world Amphoreus, expect one or new metas (summon, HP scaling, etc., as implied in the 2.4 event Trailblaze: Friendship is Magic!, 2.5 planar sets, and so on), new destruction, erudition and nihility units... This is just speculation, so take all of this with a huge grain of salt.
Personally for me even being F2P. I don´t like the idea of just having 1 character per patch. I don´t mind dont having all the characters, people need to learn how to be selective with their pulls. In a game like HSR I think it is even more important to have more characters than genshin or wuwa, because the game envolves basically all about it (new mechanincs, lore, new interactions, animations, etc). Asking for a single character it is straigh out asking for less content , we dont have the advantages of exploring, we dont have the advantages of "learning how to use the character", it is a turn based game the difficulty curve for a single character is basically zero, so the difficulty must be in how those different characters interact with one another and for that we need a good amount of characters. The reason I'll take it to seriouslly its because scares the heck out of me the lack of content. I dont want 2.6 be another 2.4 so I guess we'll see. "It's better to be sure that exist even if we don´t have it than don´t even give it the possibility to exist"
Amphoreus was a destination recommended by Black Swans and the planet most likely has connections to Remembrance. (I though we’d get maybe more March 7th lore but we already got the imaginary version now so doubtful) Very excited on getting to know more about the older characters. Shackling Prison already gave hope of seeing more Luocha, but not yet at least.
The new banner system is kind of a forced move that Hoyo has to make in order to attract new/returning players. Otherwise these players will find that they don't have access to a lot of essential characters which basically shuts them out of being able to play the game.
Long term goal is still that member of the annihilation gang who had a double bass or a cello that was so sick. So hopefully not gone forever and still somewhere in the future.
The Annihilation gang got annihilated lore wise and in development. I have a feeling the devs are more focus on building up for next year's collab with fate knowing it is a separate planet.
@@solarenityseele still clears every end game tho It's just blade who's sh*t in every game mode and can't clear the last stage (except PF if you have jade) The rest of 5 stars are good Even Jingyuan can clear moc and sometimes PF HSR is almost the same as genshin in terms of characters clearing end game The new characters are just stronger which is more interesting than what genshin does
@@Ilya0084 I know. Seeles been the one of the only character to be able to 0 cycle every moc up until now. Its just the powerceeep of hsr is way more noticable than in genshin

So in the end everyone's guess was right, update 2.6 will become the first update in HSR history to have only one new 5-star character

I skipped so many characters to save for two of them. I'm swimming in Jade that I don't know what to spend on because I can clear all content.
