(Performance's are individually posted.) - Komedie
His impressions were all good, but his impression of Jim Ignatowski from Taxi was the best one by far!
He's one of the best, hats off to Kevin Pollak!
Reverend Jim was the BEST!
Every time I stumble upon Kevin it's terrific.
I personally love him telling the story on the Bob & Tom show; of him calling in on late night show doing impersonation of Allen arkin while Allen arkin was actually on the show at the time. Beyond funny. Better than the answering machine😉😂😆😂.
Kevin has done some amazing impressions, William shatner, Jack Nicholson to name but a few. You will never hear a better impression of Peter falk from anyone else He has this down to perfection,,,,, total entertainment.
Ed Begley Jr does a great Peter Falk. Look him up on CZcams, I think you’ll b impressed.
That impression and his Arthur (Dudley Moore) impressions were right on the nose, he didn't even look like he was trying, and that's a mark of a great impressionist!
Kevin does so many more impressions than these, but he will forever be remembered as the man who could do Bill Shatner so well he taught a class in Shatner. :-D
Brilliant, just brilliant! Woody Allen - "I'm not real good in the desert...my people tend to wander a bit..." - Oh man, did I lose it!
I watch that the night at first aired
I noticed that, for whatever reason, he walked out to the band playing "The Ocean". No complaints from me, as it's one of my favorite tracks from Led Zeppelin, my favorite band ever.
The Beatles. My favorite band,ever.... but I love Led Zeppelin, as well!! And yes...' The Ocean' was a nice intro.
I was the line producer on that show - glad to have found this clip.
That’s gold
Holy crap, he almost even looked just like Woody Allen lol
His Peter Falk is spot on
My best friend and I used to try to imitate Rev. Jim back in the day...nowhere near as good as this 😂
figures, the Woody Allen flew right by them but Jim from Taxi gets a roar lol
Shoulder PADS ! Amazing talent !
Jim from 'Taxi' was a nice surprise. Kevin's Christopher Lloyd is pretty darn good and I rarely see it.
Kevin does the best columbo and Chris walken impressions, love this guy should actually play columbo in a remake ✌
Yeah, but if he just staggered around, impersonating Peter Falk, it would be just a PARODY, not a remake!
His Shatner impression is practically miraculous.
Oh man, I was there!!! It was a GREAT show and just funny as heck! Thanks Comic Strip Live for doing it...as we in the military say "BRAVO ZULU!"
So cool!
Pollack is so talented
He killed that Columbo.
Got blessed to work in a film he starred in " A Country Christmas".
Two minutes to get to the first joke, whew! But...not only does he Shatner great, but he can yell like Shatner...pretty amazing impression.
Great stuff
Fantastic.
I can not believe that 10 people gave KP a thumbs down??!! OMG I laughed so damn long and hard!! One of my most beloved male comic characters is Jim from Taxi!! That was a treat! THANK YOU!!
GR8 VID!! ✌ 😎
Columbo was spot on lol
It occurs to me that if he were to impersonate these people today, to recruits of today, they wouldn't have any idea who he was doing.
I'm reasonably sure they didn't know who Woody Allen was here. And it was a good enough impression. Meanwhile, just the crazy look was all they needed to recognise Jim from Taxi.
Coming on stage to Zeppelin now that’s cool.
holy crap. I've never seen christopher lloyd impression before lol
Reverend Jim!
The last one, to me, was the best one. Kevin is very convincing in cop/crime movies, too - just like another funny man: Norman Fell.
And Rickles, too. He played a convincing sociopath in The Rat Race. Same with Peter Sellers in Never Let Go.
I love Kevin pollock! I wish I could find the old routine where he did the original Star Trek cast. Always funny!
his Columbo is the best impression he does
No it isn't.
WHO IS THERE TODAY,NEARLY 35 YEARS ON,EVEN CLOSE TO THIS GOOD?
NOT TO MENTION, NOT ONE MF, OR ITHER BLUE LANGUAGE. MUCH TO BE SAID FOR THAT!!
Hey how are ya? Just commenting here in 2020 looks it's been a while so here I go. Kevin Pollak is a genius, one of the best impressionists of all time. HOWEVER good lord that host Gary Kroeger just chills me to the bone with his nightmare inducing "everything about me SCREAMS 1990 in the worst way humanly possible" thing he had going on there. Unacceptable Gary.
Woody Allen went over their heads...obviously. Not many from that generation either had never seen or possibly heard Woody.
I love this one.
I realize you asked your question a year ago, but if you don't yet know, that song is "The Ocean" by Led Zeppelin.
7 dollars a movie... those were the days
Thank you for posting this! I remember taping this off of Fox back in '91
Funny. 😉😀
Funny of the LMAO variety :)
Thanks

Great Woody Allen and Peter Faulk!
It is a cool tie! Lighten up, Francis!
I saw the Usual Suspects when I was nine. Now I see this.
Real good Tyson
Aww Darkman hahaha
BIG JIM IGNATOWSKI !!
From 1990
lol at the Christopher Lloyd
nice woody allen!
Was that Christopher Lloyd at the end?
The dude introducing looks just like uncle jessie
Not so much.
That was "Desert Shield", not Storm. "Desert Storm" wasn't until January 1991.
I love this guy, but that was probably the worst professional *Schwarzenegger* impression I've ever heard *XD*
To be fair, Arnold does a terrible Schwarzenegger.
I think the problem there was…….this was not a crowd that ever saw Annie Hall.
Guy looks talented. He should try acting.
@tcmaxxx
The Ocean, Led.
William Shatner even did a couple of episodes of Columbo
NEVER wear a double-breasted jacket unbuttoned
Never wear a double breasted jacket!
Mmmm...love those black shoes, blue slacks and brown db jacket with those huge shoulders. His tailor deserves a thrashing. The '80s sucked balls, then the clothing followed suit (wowsa!).
it was 1990 genius
Why is his jacket three sizes too big?
See previous comment.
90s fashion. I had the exact same suit. It looked like shit, but it was a gift...
Is he imitating Doc Brown or Jim Ignatowski?
RL R Reverend Jim obviously.
Francis?
@luchinbass Christopher Lloyd
Dude at 3:01 looks a bit like Tom Cruise.
Christian Bale
so funny and yet he ended up filming a movie with Arnold. irony..
Really funny! But nothing tops John Belushi's Kurt,on SNL in the 70's.
that wasn't mike tyson, that was mickey mouse
that is one ugly tie
Wow did not know he died.
Who?
Good comedy, damn cheesy and dated presenter-scenery...
shatner voice was too rushed
Hey Uncle Joey......Alanis said to tell you, you're a putz. And, your thingy is very small. She had a hard time finding it in the dark theater.
Some people will laugh at any old crap.
Some will be trolls.
Crap, dork
To you.
the impressions are okay, but he's not very funny.
