What everyone needs to understand is that these types of all in 1 portable is great for small current usage, and a standard telescope mount uses about 1-2 amps per hour, so a 12volt Lithium LiFePO4 can be 15 amp hour from Amazon for $50 so that battery would last about 7- 14 hours, but normally we also have a CCD camera w/cooler that uses about 3-7 amps + guide camera so that is about 1 amp, so we are at about 4-9 amps and a laptop is 3-8 amps (depends if it fully charged or low) makes it about a total of 7-17 amps, plus focus motors, filter wheel, ect. So we need about 35-75 amp hours for a full night of imaging. This battery is unit is more of a conventance but not rally can do Astrophotography all night, this as you found out can't do that and even the 1000 watt hours would be better but at what cost. I took 6 of those 15 amp 12volt Lithium LiFePO4 batteries to give me about 80-90 amps for $300 + a case and wiring other parts much less than $500 and will last many nights. But it's for a DIY person, but these 12volt Lithium LiFePO4 batteries are the future over AGM & Lead Acid batteries (way too heavy and when does not like being discharged 50%-60% will kill those types of batteries where LiFePO4 can be discharged 100% over and over to about 1000 times and still recharge to 75%. So I hope to give context that these all in 1 are great for light current needs but not really without paying $1000. Christopher

Good call. I switched to LifePo4 and so good. LioN are no good for astro and all night imaging. Temperature affects the levels too.

Looks like a great solution for astrophotographers who want to image in more remote locations, and would prefer to use a CMOS/CCD camera instead of a DSLR/Mirrorless camera. 🖒🖒 However, given the prices I saw on their website, these things better be able to cook & serve breakfast too! lol 😉😆

would you mind speaking about the more budget friendly options? i'm a beginner who is interested in going to some star parties but would like to take laptop for guiding which will need some power. eventually will replace with mini pc such as asi air pro or stellarmate which should need less power

I couldn’t find an affordable option that had enough Amp hours. The only off the shelf options I see are similar to this Jackery deal and too much $. The off brand ones aren’t cheap enough to gamble on in my opinion. I ended up with a 100ah lead deep cycle and a diy power distribution box. It was a huge hassle but I have less than $200 into it and it powers everything all night, just barely.

For average workout these seem fine.
The price point of course still makes the SLA's more friendly if annoyingly heavy of course. The recharging is something people also need to be aware of, as many of these packs limit the charge volt/amp and can take 8-12hrs to charge so that the solar panels they offer are actually not enough unless you get full sunlight (watched a video comparison of several where recharge rates were compared).
For those who have $$$ to spend they are definitely worth considering for the convenience.
Still remember the best advice is to run the mount off a seperate power source from all other accessories as it will tend to run the least power consumption while simply tracking. Let this pack run all the 'hot' accessories and it should do just fine.
For a general review of lithium packs I suggest Will Prouse's youtube video which is quite informative.

250USD and over $800 AUD here in Australia...given that the US value is around AUD $340 on currency conversion, one has to ask why the extra $500 added onto the price for locals here...
it's typically of how we get screwed as Australians by price gouging from distributors and retailers...

g`day its only 24 ah (amp hour)thats why it won't last using the ac outlet that duracell deep cycle battery looks like its 200 to 350 ah ... you have to add up all the amps DC your systems are drawing per hour mount 2 to 5 amps per hour dew heaters 1 to 2 amps per hour over 2 hours = 14 amps at maximum usage to decide on the power you will need (batt size)and to buy... if you run a inverter yes the power skyrockets ..its best to have a big safety margins to make sure you have enough power for all your equipment and to future proof for new gear .eg 2amp dew heater used for 10 hour =20 ah
