Chihiro and Hiyuki are slowly becoming one of the duo dynamics I love, and i’m all here for it.
From what I understand Shinuchi’s attacks go as follows:
Spider: Halt the target
Dragonfly: Direct attack?
Centipede: Repels
It seems like every enchanted blade has three different attacks but that’s the assumption so far from what we’ve seen. This sword can be something on a completely different level.
If you look closely, centipede actually released a circular slash around Kyora and I know its a slash (not just a shockwave or smth) because it split the surrounding rocks/debris in half, it just didn't cut chihiro and hiyuri bcos they defended with enten and Flame bone respectively

He said they have 3 base move but the more you understand the blade the more combo you can run together
Shinuchi has 4 though if you add the butterfly
Not to mention the og wielder only commanded it once so far. It could be that all these attacks are of the Magatsumi aspect, seeing how all of them are themed after insects so far (just like how Kuro has default mode and shred)

man, its so cool to see a new jump manga stir up all these interesting conversations. chihiro vs sojo was a great opening act for kagurabachi. having them clash over their interpretation of the blades and come out with each acknowledging the other as correct was huge. it set the tone for readers to take everything in kagurabachi seriously, to consider every interpretation of the story, the lore, the characters, the art. a very big era in jump is ending. but this could be the start of another one
Shinuchi is the title, the swords actual name is magatsumi

It really puts into perpetuating just how broken Enten might actually be when you realize that Kunishige spent the rest of his life (about 15 years) as a more experienced master blacksmith, forging Enten.
He couldn’t have spent THAT much time on the 6 other swords since they were implied to have all been made within the same era of war which shouldn’t be longer than 5 years.
I can’t wait to see how he grows alongside Enten.
If it’s ability to absorb attacks grows even further (as it has been so far), I could see a future where Enten absorbs multiple Enchantments that Chihiro can then use whenever necessary.
Or an even greater evolution would be for Enten to absorb all other enchanted from the other swords entirely, which would kinda be in line with Chihiro and his father’s goal of safeguarding the other 6 blades.
I'm also a believer that Enten is Rokuhira's Masterpiece, just a matter of time to see it fully develop.
The hilt is the handle. The Tsuba is what's also called the guard of a sword. And, once again, the Shinuichi is a title. Magatsumi is the name of the sword. Either way, this fight going to be a good one. I'm down for Chihiro to have an actual rival that also pulls up to help him.
