    A VERY GOOD win for Samsanov. Great to see him justify his world ranking here.

    One thing I know about table tennis is that, so far, offense > defense. No one has proven that wrong yet. There are great defensive players yes but so far most of the more successful ones are offensive.

    It's a shame Joo lost focus at the 5th set. He's my favorite player. I think he has never won to Samsonov :( Next match he'll win!

    @quickzilver333 That's right. Vladi said in his interview once, that he never had problems against defenders, because he had got a lot of practice against defenders when he was junior.

    Vladimir Samsonov good against defending players. He a slow, strong player with good feeling and "bad" fotwork at that level.

    @smart0money It doesn't matter if Joo Se Hyuk was in his prime. Samsonov is very good in dealing with defensive players. As a matter of fact I don't think Samsonov has ever lost to any defensive player before.

    Impressive length variation from Samsonov, and his blocks are always so low and short over the net, even JSH have hard times to counter-attack them.

    Entre Samsung et Joo, ça a toujours été très serré,
    mais jusqu'ici, Sam a gagné finalement.

    @smart0money come on :)) you must be joking. ... you call this a relaxing match? They bought fought as hard as possible, both might have passed their prime but does not mean that Joo or Samsonov didn't play well. In fact it was a great match and Samsonov won because he played an extremely smart game.

  • @omfgization

    @EdMajinLee199999
    It is so, because Joo make the game slower. When Samsonov plays to Ma Long he does not play so slow.

    @goptty Boll mostly loses to Ma Lin. He usually beats the other two, but has recent losses to Joo Se Hyuk in 2010 and I believe early 2011.

    @goptty And also, Ma Lin has a 13-6 record against Joo, so mostly beats him too. You obviously have no clue here.

  • @YuzmeKosuFitness

    Wang hao, xu xin, ma lin, ma long got the clear edge over him.But Samsanov's loop and touch variations must be the most annoying style for jsh.

  • @KaxMisha
    @KaxMisha Před 12 lety +1

    @goptty Boll has a 5-13 record against Ma Lin, so hardly ever beats him...

  • @lupzhero
    @lupzhero Před 12 lety

    problem is joo can't play defense 100% of the time
    he has to attack with loop also
    trying to balance it out but still playing more defense
