I've got an 2013 a4 avant b8 same as yours. My aux port was perfectly working until i installed a parrot handsfree device. Now it shows "source active" but no sound is playing. any ideas?
Tell me please your car had aux or ami port or you just take out CD player and placed an aux cable in the port behind so as to connect your mobile etc with the other side?

AusaR have you checked plug one you plugged in aux port ?
Speaker wires need to be in right place in aux plug
@@funonlyfun1979 i have not, but to do that i would have to take off the whole dashboard, to dissasemble it
You have to unscrew entertainment system , to do that need to take off climate control panel.

On my car I had aux port behind symphony CD player and I also had to activate aux port by vag com machine.

Where does the aux cable goes?

Lesly Garcia you have to connect aux cable back side of CD player and another end to your external device you want to connect.
Does every Audi A4 B8 (from 2009 to 2011) have that thing on the glove box? Even the mmi 2Gs?
You should have on your CD player You have take CD player out then you can see there port for aux plug in

first you need vag com diagnose or latest version to your car and then you have activate aux from connected diagnose machine
