I have been riding a wheel with high pedals EX20s for the last month and let me tell you, its different but its awesome. The safety, and carelessness of being so high up is really great. You definitely get used to it. I love how i can not worry that my pedal will hit a curb, that way i can ride through even narrower gaps.
depends where you get it, Kenda 340a and CST626 are both great tires

I've been riding the Master exclusively for the last 3 or so weeks. I found I got so accustomed to the higher pedals that when I rode my sherman the other day it felt completely alien.
Nice that you got used to it.
The same thing happened to me from riding the monster pro and the V 11 then back to the Sherman

As someone who rides trails/street 60/40 and having tried my friend's master I appreciate the high pedals/ extra clearance as pedal clipping really sucks and the knobby cst tire is what I got with my rs ht and am used to that and find it quite a nimble tire after using it for the last 10 months wire my rs so I won't mind the stock cst knobby tire.. wouldn't want the street tire as it's not as versatile and dangerous off road

The master is a great wheel but the number of upgrades required is considerable.... let me list them out for those who want to ride on the road with the intention of pushing the wheel. Rear shock, rear shock plate, lower pedal hangers, ClarkPad fairings, foam fiberglass cover, road tire, pedals (pedals are a personal thing so arguable), powerpads (arguable as you should already have some). BUT once you do these upgrades the master would ride amazingly and you would very quickly forget the money that you spent.
I didn't need to change the shock plates but i see why you did..

The biggest problem in my opinion is the build quality and the lack of water proofing. I hope they improve that in later batches. But it wouldn't be Begode if they did.

Love this review! I have a Master coming in a month. I’m used to the CST knobby tire on my EXN. Id like a street tire on my new wheel. I’m worried about wobbles at high speeds with the street tire (40-50mph). I’m little and have skinny weak legs! Should I stick with the knobby?
Street tire is the best for this wheel unless you plan to do trails.

You can’t carve with higher pedals? I understand that you weren’t comfortable with the height but how does that stop you from carving?

Extreme bull pedals and begode pads. Bumper is my own design.

How would you compare it to the s22 ? My master arrives next week, I sold my Sherman Max for it (needed the suspension in Paris even though I absolutely loved my Max, so much buffer with the batteries, you never feel like you're going to get in trouble...) But now I'm not sure it is a better wheel than the s22... I need it to be torquey, safe, and to be a great city commuter. I ride mainly cruising at 60, sometimes topping out at 70 but I don't really need the extra speed above 70.
i tried the s22 but not long enough vs the Master. It feels like the Master is clearly superior to s22 performance wise. I would need more time with a s22 but dont have access to one. Both seem great for your needs.
What is the range that you are getting and which speeds do you typically ride at?

j'en ai une depuis un moi, j'ai fait 30 km avec et j'ai commandé le kit Grizzla ... je ne me sent pas du tout rassuré dessus pour le moment car mal tenu ... maintenant reste le problème du pneu ... je fais majoritairement du off road
I bought the same unicycle last week .nothing rough with stock tire. All I hear is this bull change the the tire .load of BULL.GREAT WHEEL
Try to carve deep and see what happens (gear up). Zombie riding, no issues. Active riding, you’re going to feel it. You can disagree with the mass opinion, but if a feedback is uniformly constant, it’s probably right. Thanks for watching.

You can get used to it. Not a deal breaker, just a personal preference.

To be honest if you were a Street rider why are you getting the Begode master? It wasn’t made for your demographic. The Inmotion V12 high speed version would be more what you’re looking for. Everything that you didn’t like it has fixed.

@@Ronin_Ryder I’m not trying to be a jerk. It’s just that all your preferences are geared towards street riding. I’m exactly the same way that’s why I’m not gonna be getting the master. Even though I do want it for off-road stuff I am going to be looking at the T4 which should be more nimble with more torque because of the smaller wheel…and has suspension for bumps in the road. You are a lightly larger rider so the Monster may be better for you.
@@matthewearl9824 when a wheel can do 50+mph it says street riding to me, just highlighting the discrepancies of this wheel.
