- In this video I introduce you to my low mileage 1999 BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster E36 and share my plans for this car. I will be keeping it very original. The BMW Z3 was featured in the James Bond film/movie 'Goldeneye'. This car has the 2.8 straight six petrol (gasoline) engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox and is in Arctic Silver, with a red/black contrasting leather interior.
I detail work required including:
Viscous fan and cowling refitting, full service, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter (Bosch), NGK spark plugs, Quantum 5W40 fully synthetic oil, gearbox oil change, differential oil change, brake fluid change, coolant change (antifreeze). Swapping Sony head unit with original BMW unit. Radio reception poor, convertible roof issue/wiring fault, radio aerial/antenna grommet, brake pads and discs, seat belt guide on driver's seat, wooden gear knob, throttle cable stiff, seat removal, heater control illumination bulb, centre console removal,

car looks like a nice project, im mildly jealous! idk if im right but it looks like the hood relays are where the radio booster is? lack of the seal could be why both dont work.. good luck hunting the issues there!

Wow love that bmw!! Amazing condition considering the age and such low mileage!! Love the red leather too!! I’m surprised you fit in it though .. it’s more my size hahaha!! I’ll send you over pics of my bmw .. be good to see what you think of it 😊

6ft 1 but a lot of my height is in my body/trunk rather than my legs, so I sit high in cars.
Excellent video! How tall are you? I ask as I'm 6'3" and have been offered a pre-facelift 2.8 but not sure if I'll fit.
