- Here I've talked about all the important details how we applied for student visa or residence permit for studies in Finland. I forgot to mention though, that due to the worldwide pandemic, my sister took online classes in the Philippines for 1 whole academic year. Yes, she still paid for the whole tuition fee. After almost a year, she received an email from the embassy asking all applicants that need to hurry their visa application. Among those applicants are students, who have been stuck in online classes for quite some time already. So the embassy booked an appointment for my sister and asked for her personal appearance, together with all the original documents they required her to submit online.

Application usually takes place I think on spring and autumn (kindly check studyinfo.fi). What I've shared po in the vlog about the extrance exam is all that we know. 😅

1. You mentioned the minimum requirement sa funds. Applicant should have 9700 (ex for tuition fee) + 6720. Since the permit should be renewed every year, does this mean that for a 3-year program, I need to show €49260 upon application?
2. Nagtake pa ba si sister ng IELTS? or yung language exam na namention mo sa written exam nya, yun na talaga lang ang requirement?

Hlo .. my wife and i have joint account and we have funds in that account ... for file process we need to transfer it to our personal account....are they accept our funds in our joint Account for both spouse and student visa..actually funds 2 year old in joint account. Sa sister ko hnd naman po nirequire and sa mga kakilala ko na pumasok with student permit.. Meron entrance exam lahat pero not sure kng lahat eh may interview.. Sa school na pinasukan ko eh need ang interview.

Ung mga kilala ko naninternational business or even business management eh hirap makahanap ng work dito. Pwede ka magShift ng course. Health care/ nursing ang in demand. Yes kung makahanap ka ng work eh pwd mo na iApply ng working residence permit..

Free if you're residing in Finland po or if not, you'll take the course in Finnish... unless magaral ka ng something special like baking, bartending, etc. Mga ganyan eh may bayad.

Hi po. Would you think po na magkakaproblema sa visa application if magoopen pa lang ako ng bank account right before ako magapply ng student residence permit since wala naman akong source of income and issupport lang ako ng relatives ko? Thank you po. 😁
They will ask some questions lang po like kng san nanggaling yung money and stuffs like that... same situation sa sister ko, hnd naman nagkaProb sa application

Residence permit for studies ang para sa mga students na ganyan katagal ang study period
Permanent residence permit can only be granted if have lived in Finland continuously for four years with a continuous residence permit (the A permit).... residence permit for studies is not even an A permit. You may want to refer to migri.fi :)

Kasi ang sabi nila job order, job ??? tapos bigla student visa na. Sabi walang bayad tapos bigla 9500 tuition fee na agad. Eh work ang nakaadviertise tapos student visa pala at me malaking bayad. considering na graduate ka na mageenroll na naman. And malaking halaga sya, yung visa kasi para yan sa student so incase gusto mo kumita di naman sya work yung alok ng agency. SO sabi maghahanap daw kami ng sarili naming partime. Yung gagastusin panu mo babawiin yung 1m, kung wala naman work at mahirap bawiin yun kalaki. then kung magwork panu mo kukunin ang working visa eh student ang binibigay nila. malabo kasi di naman sya work talaga. iba sa ads iba din kapag nag usap na. yung friend ko sa uk student visa binigay sa kanya kaya nagstay sya naging tnt kasi nga panu wala din binigay na work student lang at panu ka kikita eh di naman magbibigay ng work. sila na mismo dumiskarte at humanap at nagoverstay dahil wala na talaga silang pera.
Kaya always be careful sa mga nilalapitan na agency. Need to do some research bago magDecide

After ng graduation of course sis pwede ka na maghanap ng full time. Sabi ng kakilala ko dati na meron ding student's residence permit, you have 1 yr after grad para maghanap ng work, para maGrant ka ng residence permit (what we know as working visa)
