Exactly what I came to comment as well. Now that Benjamin knows her power what if he has one of his men kill her and them immediately kills himself or someone else kills him. Benjamin would then get the power from his subordinate as Camilla would be dead.

That sounds fun, but also insane. Like there's a couple rules you could make for each nen type, but nen abilities can be literally anything. I feel like it'd be more an exercise in creating your free form nen powers.

Then Gyo, Shu, En, In, Ken, Ko, and Ryo have their own dots for Advanced Nen Techniques. I've thought up ways to incorporate Nen types, and been working on a way to "Negotiate with the Storyteller" when creating your own unique Nen Ability. You can have as many different Nen Abilities as you have Hatsu Dots. And everyone has 100% Nen memory (I got this idea from Hisoka when he mentioned Kastro ran out of Nen Memory for his Nen Ability). Anytime you make a Nen Ability, it costs a percent of Nen Memory. The cost is determined by drawbacks, your character's backstory/personality, how close your Nen category is to the ability you are making, the complexity, and restrictings/drawbacks/vows you add to it.

Meruem is absolutely not the exception that's the part of hunter x hunter that is the most interesting. He was a child who was super powerful but tons of Hatsu simply do not care. The cat would kill him. A spun enough times ripper cyclotron would kill him. The robots that ejects anyone without harming them? Yep would be able to eject meruem. Nen cares about rules and restrictions it doesn't care if you're a ant-king if the requirements are met that is all it cares about.
@@joshshrum2764 That's a different issue, obviously in a fair fight Meruem would never let Ripper Cyclotron hit him but 15 rotations was way to many to rip through an ant. If Phinks spends 10 minutes charging it up he would go through Meruem easy peasy no problem, he'd take his head clean off. Use god's accomplice to make him entirely undetectable and boom you got yourself a dead ant king. It's literally the point of a character it's a child with near infinite raw power and that's why he dies. The HxH world is cruel, it doesn't give a shit, Dragonball rules do not apply. Hatsus do exactly what they say on the tin and you can't get past it using raw power.

If you like Hunter x Hunter I recommend reading World Trigger. It’s the only other manga I’ve read that goes as much in depth of the power mechanic Trion, battle tactic strategies and characters as hxh. Seriously the current arc, the away mission battle sims arc is something right up your alley telling. It’s literally a tournament arc where everyone is selected into teams and are literally using wit and teamwork in a mmorpg battle Simms game it’s soooo cool.
The one thing to note about Tserriednich's power is that he has to completely shutdown all his nen senses to activate. Now this could be only because Theta's sideways training to try and kill him, so maybe he can change that if he learns more. But for right now, it does mean he has a moment of vulnerability where he's completely powerless before it activates (not counting his nen beast protecting him).
People using Ging showcasing an emission ability at a high level to say he is an emitter or enhancer is like saying Netero is a Conjurer or Manipulator because he summons the Guanine Bodhisattva - we know Netero is an enhancer, he was just that good with nen he could use the weakest nen types for his ability and it was still powerful. We just dont know enough about Ging's skills - we know he is good enough to spar with Netero, and that he is definitely a prodigy unlike any we have seen. My own head cannon is that he is a specialist or enhancer. He is incredibly smart and charismatic, which specialists typically are, but also can be very straightforward and blunt, which is very enhancer of him. I just think he is that damn good with nen, like Netero.
I think the part people tend to forget that hatsu/nen expression/nen ability (yes they are all the same things) are just another part of nen techiniques and that combatants of nen are basically using deflector shields over time. Meruem is hax because he has an ungodly amount of it on top of his phisology. He had to be slapped around by Netero dozens of times before he felt even a hint of pain and Netero was using a giant multiarmed buddha statue to even accomplish this. And Meruem was only use Ren and Ten. Purely defensive technique The fact is he's hax because by the nature of aura which is designed to protect you the aura of others he has so much of it that anything less than Netero's Nen ability would (if you were going by the 4 1/10 weeks he was alive) would make him invincible. If your ability doesn't output as much power as the 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva then its not going to beat him. And we're also including nen abilities that can somehow bypass aura if we're going Knuckle's output theory. The king could likely output enough of it at once to stop any nen acting on him that's not raw physical force.

I like Kurapika a lot. In fact, I might even consider him my favorite character. He’s powerful but to say he’s hax is a little absurd considering he couldn’t put a mark on either of the two characters who belong in that tier. We all know his combat ability is extremely limited if he isn’t fighting a Spider. I don’t see him beating Hisoka or Netero. I’d say bottom of S tier for him is more fair considering all his limitations and drawbacks
Tserriednich basically has King Crimson AND a demon from Berserk world LMAO. He's basically a combination of Diavolo and Griffith and his personality is actually spot on with that comparison. WTF Togashi!?

Saying biohazard should be transmutation. You guys...are taking the word transmute too literal. Transmutation is simply making your nen behave like something else. Nen itself does not change but it mimics something. Killua's lightning nen is just visual effect. His nen does conjure electricity it just behaves like it. Its why Kaminari works the way that it does and its not an emission ability. Biohazard makes absolute sense as a conjuration
Ging explaining applications of Leorio’s hatsu in medicine was done wayyy after the fact he was hit with it AND after he learned Leorio wants to become a doctor after Gon saying as much when he voted for Pariston. There is NO confirmation Ging gained all that intuition the moment he saw and was hit with Leorio’s power.

seeing this reminds me how angry i am at him retconning so many nen types like making knuckle a conjurer. I love HXH and its creator is so talented but its becoming more clear that hes forgotten so many rules he once made and has generated new ones.
Maybe he just forgets about it, someone should come to Togashi to remind him lol. But in this arc he is still sticking to the rules of what we know about the Nen types and what it can do. It is still consistent and not far fetch.

To conjure you must have a fundamental understanding of how the thing you conjure works not only must he have an identical understanding of every fire arm in existance but also snakes. Improbable on its own. But then they somehow share the properties of both snakes and guns????? Conjuration creates real things that’s it’s whole shtick this level of modification of existing material and the downright magic involved is contrived. The punch interrogation hatsu also extremely unlike how we have ever seen emission work. Truthfully I would have less of a problem with many of the examples in this arc if he hadn’t retconned many of the old nen affinities of characters like knuckle or the zoldycks
