Irish Prime Minister's response to the Israeli accusation of being on the 'wrong side of history'

  • Irish Taoiseach Simon Harris responded to the Israeli accusation that his state is on 'the wrong side of history,' saying it was 'a little bit hard to hear that.' He went on to state that the actions of the Netanyahu government right now are allowing a humanitarian catastrophe to unfold in Gaza, in particular.
The new prime minister of Ireland, who assumed office days ago, says that they believe reason has now been replaced by revenge, and they believe there needs to be an immediate cessation of violence while also assuring that Ireland is extraordinarily clear about the right of Israel to live in safety and security.
The Israeli accusation that Ireland is 'on the wrong side of history' came from the Foreign Ministry last Thursday while criticising Ireland’s new Prime Minister for not mentioning the hostages during his first speech after being elected leader.
Harris was elected on 9 April and condemned Israel's war in Gaza in his first speech, stating that men, women, and children were being slaughtered while also condemning the Hamas attack on 7 October.

@@Panzerfaustchen lol so let me get your logic straight. You believe that terrorism is worse than genocide? Boy you must have had to do so real mental gymnastics to come to that conclusion, not even getting into the fact that the civilians of Gaza aren’t terrorists and that they have been under occupation for decades. I mean if you’re gonna bitch about things on Israel’s behalf it might be a good idea to familiarize yourself with how similar situations like in apartheid South Africa or in Ireland went. You’ll notice the same shit, groups fighting for freedom but being stifled at every turn until violence was the only answer that could deliver any results and despite what western countries say about who should and shouldn’t be a part of any future Palestinian government, they are forgetting that members of the ANC are still a part of the South African government, and that members of the IRA are still a part of Irish parliament.

She lost her credibility in 1999 when, because of her lies, Serbia was bombed for 78 days in the most brutal way, infrastructure, bridges, railways, hospitals, schools, entire settlements, ... all "military targets" by the NATO pact without the approval of the UN Security Council.
What the Palestinian people are going through, Serbs have gone through 4 times in the last 100 years.
They accused us every single time and we experienced 4 genocides in 100 years.
Nobody cares in the West, even though we were on the side of the allies in both world wars, and we paid for that role by losing 3/4 of the male population and 4/5 of the territory of Serbia.
Genocide that continues to this day in Kosovo and Metohija.
Over a million Serbs were killed in just one Jasenovac camp during World War II and nobody cares about that, but 4,000 ISIS extremists killed in the fighting around Srebrenica is genocide, isn't it?
In that same Srebrenica, 3,500 Serbs were killed at the same time, again, that doesn't matter, does it?
It is important to accuse the Serbs for alleged genocide.
Even though wherever the Serbs lived, they no longer exist.
There are no more Serbs in Croatia, Albania, Greece, or Bulgaria.
In Kosovo and Metohija before the First World War, more than half of the population were Serbs, today there are about 100,000 Serbs living there who are mistreated and killed every day, nobody cares and the whole west in silent.
STOP GENOCIDE UPON SERBIAN POPULATION IN KOSOVO !!!

Children are smaller and have fewer body-fat stores to draw from. They fail much faster. Within days, faced with nothing to eat, the body begins feeding on itself. The body starts to consume energy stores - carbohydrates, fats and then, scavenging the protein parts of tissue. Kidney function is impaired, and the immune system weakens becoming stalked by infection, inflamed intestines, and diseases such as anemia, pneumonia, cholera, diarrhea, hepatitis, malaria. The heart, lungs, and other organs weaken and shrivel without food, eventually so does the brain. In this process that includes incomprehensible pain, finally, the heart stops.

Brining perpetrators of crimes or terrorist acts to justice is fine and is what should be done. Instead, Israel has systematically destroyed Gaza, made 100s of thousands homeless, prevented humanitarian aid getting through. Israel has unleashed pure terror on a civilian population and it is a disgrace. Israel has no right to exist on other people's land. This follows from the November 2nd 1917 Balfour Declartation. When you read the one page carefully. It states the conditions by the British Crown under which the refugee jews were allowed to live in Palestine. One of the conditions is “‘that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-jewish communities in Palestine”. Consistently violated.

The British political establishment were always masters of hypocrisy and double speak.
That quote from the Balfour Declaration is akin to giving a cocaine addict half a kilo of cocaine and announcing to him his rehabilitation process began and so he is not allowed to touch any of it.
