About Microphones and MS recordings with Sennheiser 418 by Cujo Sound

Here I'll go over how an MS micvrophone work, in this case the Sennheiser 418 which is actually two microphones in one.
I'll explain how the 418 works, how MS recording works and give you some examples of how I used them in sound design and gained massive sounding end products out of them by taking some of their frequency artifacts into use.

Double MS has a figure 8 and a mic facing forward and a mic facing backward, its for easy upscaling to 5.0.

great video, i want to know, when using this with Canon C70, do you need a split cable that goes into both mic inputs? i want to use it outdoors for a fuller sound rather than the 416 everyone seems to be using
If you want it to record two channels, which you'll need for MS then it has to go to both inputs yes. :)
