    At last somebody using it properly, slow, long strokes easy, and on pull stroke, great demo

    I do tree work and have been able to do quite a bit of work without having to carry around a chainsaw. I did pay about $200 for mine but it's worth every penny. When I have to climb and cut up to 8 inch limbs or so, even in oaks, I use my Katanaboy and leave the chainsaws on the ground. That along with my Ibuki and Hayauchi (for working the tops) make me pretty effective. Silkys stay sharp, and unlike cheap saws, there's no fear about snapping a blade if something goes awry and the blade gets jacked. Beautiful saws!!!!!!

    Cliff, do you mean it cuts ridiculously fast? That poplar was super soft and I don't think I've ever cut anything faster than that.

  • @CliffStamp
    @CliffStamp Před 11 lety +1

    Just buy a cheap one off amazon. As long as it’s sharp it will be efficient.

    This is the King of folding saws (because of size and technology). But the price is also for kings and it is not ok to pay for a folding saw the same like for a chainsaw. I know high quality have costs, but it is too much. I really want to buy it but the price have stopped me. That's why I buy a Fiskars with 10 inch blade who work wery good.

    Standing dead wood of any kind really; hard wood and soft if possible.
