The first match of the Long Island Cup old school Magic tournament 3.0.
We are starting out intense with a matchup between DEADGUY ALE and COMPOSITION-A. It’s juzam djinn on juzam djinn action and few enchantments, artifacts, creatures or lands will be left unscathed once the dust has settled.
In order to be sure to make the cut to the coveted top-8 one can only lose once in this tournament of about 65 players. There will be 7 matches in the Swiss before the cut to the top-8 is made.
So… which of these two demon decks will pull out ahead in this ferocious duel and which will be unfortunate enough to start the tournament with its back against the wall?

Yes! Brutal carnage as it should be, piling up the graveyards until they're matching the respective library's height. That first game man, awesome. Pure mayhem with an unlikely comeback.

What was the strategy of the Deadguy player in game 2? I cannot understand any of his plays
-Casting the time walk seemed particularly weak, especially with a LoA he was trying to bring online. Casting time walk for "Explore" mode (draw a card, put a land in play) is bad unless under extreme pressure
-Disenchant on a black lotus is accomplishing what, exactly? If composition A player had a mind twist, he would have cast it *before* the Su-Chi, so you can assume he didn't have it. Otherwise, that player is just delaying his ability to get to 7 cards ASAP (if the strategy wasn't to try and win off the library, then i'm not sure what the point of keeping the Library was)
-Dumping hand for black lotus into sinkhole / chaos orb while stranding a Juzam of his own into his hand...yikes...only to die to composition-A Juzam the next turn
fun to watch, but wish deadguy player was a bit more skilled
