There was a time when he would be proud of talking about Westlife. I mean of all stars he has produced in the music industry, Westlife are still his best record selling artists of all time with their 56 million records sold. None of his artists both from American Idol and X-Factor and UK Idols and X Factor has come close to that number. Respect to Westlife. I just wish Simon had mentioned them during his Hollywood Walk of Fame speech when he spoke about his beginnings.
The more I see these old videos, the more I'm angry with America DJs for refusing to pkay Westlife because they believed that Biyband era was over. Who the hell were they to determine that? That was supposed to be the listeners decision. America missed out on one of the best boybands of sll time. It's niw that they are learning about Westlufe snd seeing how great they are. In 2023 they'll perform there. But the best of Westlife, their peak was when they should have seen them with the rest of the world
