#xiaomi13ultra #xiaomi13pro #xiaomi13 - Zábava
As a Pixel owner, this is a wakeup call to Google 😮
Indeed, I think that's the real reason why Google grabbed the sensor from the Mi 11 Ultra for the 8 Pro. That phone let everyone know that Xiaomi was very serious about cameras. Great comment sir.
Man this was a great video. I know you are glad you had your Xiaomi because most cellphones would not cut it.
Great point sir. The video and picture quality is tough to beat in harsh environments.
Brilliant! So glad I found this video. I’m looking forward to viewing more of your videos. The quality of the videos you took were amazing. You exhibit professionalism at its highest.
Thank you! Any and all professionalism that I display is from my parents. Any mistakes are just me.
Great follow up video. Great photos and videos
Thank you Eazy 💪🏽. I appreciate you 🙏🏽.
Great video Barry. Love how detailed you get with your camera deep dives. Good stuff man
Thanks Ray! I am glad because they are so much fun to do.
Great to hear about how well it's aging over these 3 months. Appreciate that update video. Hard to beat that phone all around
You are welcome and major facts. This was a super solid release for Xiaomi.
This device did a great job capturing your trip! Nice work Barry.💪🏽
I totally agree. I have to admit a couple of the shots surprised me 😁
Great review Barry. It was nice to see how this device was able to capture the essence of your trip.
I totally agree with you JoJo. There wasn't one shot that I wished I had my camera instead.
Hey Barry, clicked with the speed of light on this one!
I appreciate that Aljosa 🙏🏽
Great video Brother! Very detailed and I enjoyed the calm professionalism in your voice.
Thanks Big Mosley, I appreciate you 💪🏽
Great video homie as usual 👍🏿
Man, I appreciate you fam 💪🏽
Don't give up ,ull make it loving it content
Thanks Barry! Great revisit of this device. Love the video you took.
You are welcome and this phone has your name written all over it.
@@BarryJohnson It sure does!
Playing catch up sir… Sorry for my delay in viewing this but I am here now. Love the videos and photos in this video. Now I am ready to go back to Cozmel. Thanks for the follow up on this phone! #FantasticFour
#Fantastic4. Also Cozumel is so dope.
@@BarryJohnson this video is even more dope 👍🏽
Thank you!!!
So.... saying dips 3 months later isn't possible right? xD And good to see an update video!
Hahahaha and yes who knew that the phone would still be outstanding three months later 😁
glad to hear :D@@BarryJohnson
@@Conceptcreator yep 😁
Yo dope video homie. Wish I had the eye for photos.
Man, your photos are straight 🔥🔥🔥 Sir. Keep shooting.
@@BarryJohnson ayyye I know what to do right? 🤣 u keep killing it Siiiir

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate you covering global phones. Blessings on your day!
You are welcome Jeff and blessings to you.
That camera's fire bro. Gotta learn more about fine tuning camera settings like that but looks good with how you did it. Hope you had fun in Bradenton.
Hit me up sir. It's not that bad once you get past the first few photos.
@@BarryJohnson bet
Damn that intro on the boat made my jaw drop, beautiful man. Expect nothing less from the Engineer himself!!!!!
Yeah, man straight 🔥🔥🔥. What's funny is that later when I showed the SkyWay I used the 1080P sample. Man, what a time to be alive.
@@BarryJohnson 👀
I swear man, even for someone like me that just sticks to point and shoot, and this is wwwwaaaayyyy more camera than I would ever need. Real recognize real and Xiaomi looking VERY familiar 😂 they killing it
@@IkesTechTalk Man listen, Xiaomi is out here murkin most cameras. 😬😬. Like I said there wasn't one time that I was like I wish I had my mirrorless camera. Nope, thanks to Xiaomi my cameras can stay safe in the house.
Great video as always. I've been finding basically everything you're mentioning to be true on my end. The feel, the performance and all is great. Cameras are a great replacement for my mirrorless camera. I'm enjoying in and not a single regret with purchasing the Xiaomi 13 ultra. That, with my Pixel 6 Pro on me too....perfect.
Man, I am so glad to hear that you are still enjoying this. It always makes me happy when photographers feel that they can use these devices in places only reserved for mirrorless in the past. It's simply game changing. And yes, the Pixel always has to stay on deck.
@@BarryJohnson Yeah, I might be stuck with testing out and buying imports now. Cellular coverage may not be perfect, but still very usable. It was certainly a backup camera type of purchase and I would also tell anyone.....it's worth considering the Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi and other import brands.
@CliftonOubre Yep, I went through this same process last year. Such a good time to be into phones that have great camera systems.
Great video man .
How about the battery did it hold up?
Yes, the battery has held up well overtime.
Dope video Barry🔥 I know it's a different camera system, but do you think the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 camera will have at least 90% of the Ultra's performance?
BrayGray, you will get less bokeh with the main sensor but other than that it should be tuned nicely. If you like the Leica color tuning that you saw in this video I suspect that you would see the same. Btw, a lot of the shots here are from the much smaller sensors on the 13 Ultra and they hold up well.
Thanks for the video, mate. Can you please tell me if you have any issues with this phone on wireless chargers? I feel the huge camera hump could be a problem in that regard.
I don't use wireless charging but will be working on a follow up video tonight. I will test it then.
Sorry, I thought I had replied. It works but it definitely will take some muscle memory depending on the wireless charger you use.
Sick video, for a sick phone!! The biggest 'Ultra' Xiaomi sure is a beast!!
Those pics and vids are A1 quality sir @barry 🔥🔥 Then again we shouldn't expect anything less from one of the hottest brands and phone series around these past few iterations👌🏾#MiMafia#Onfire
Yes sir 💪🏽. MiMafia is definitely on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. They got so many things right with this camera system.
Nice update. Looks like it was exceptional on your trip. Easily one of the best phones of 2023
Yes it is. Definitely one of the best in 2023. I didn't miss having a mirrorless camera.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra the best cameraphone ever to date.
BJ thank you again. I ordered it last night during the stream. Delivery Mon.
Awesome!!! Please give me feedback when you can.

Agreed Bo they are outstanding.
This has to be my smartphone camera for my street photography 💯
Agreed, it is pure sorcery on the street.
Yeah I made it.
Ayyyyye, that's what's up. I truly appreciate that.
Great video as hou always give us, however this phone had something similar to sacrilegious in these days....AN LCD SCREEN!!!!
That's a clear Nope for me😎
Sorry I didn't make it clear. What I was saying is the K60 Ultra that released is OLED and available for $459 USD. This one that I reviewed is ultra premium and has one of the best AMOLED panels that you can buy.
@@BarryJohnson Sorry, a bit misunderstanding. been to much infuenced by the preacher lately 😎
@@Eivind.A hahahahaha, no problem Eivind A.
I had convinced myself not to get one and now Barry has roped me all the way back in 😂
Great video man.
LOL Dan, just like you and me and Sony. I have been able to stay away so far 😁.
@@BarryJohnson it's only a matter of time 😈
@@GroundedTech Agreed 😁
hey man I'm quite interested in the 13 Ultra and X90 Pro Plus. Which one would you recommend for a more mirrorless camera like experience ability?
This one comes down to preference. The Xiaomi is phenomenal and Xiaomi does a great job of taking photos that have reduced sharpness and colors that wow most people. It's great for street photography and people that don't want to edit. vivo, rarely ever misses with HDR. They nail their processing and their SuperRaw is second only to the iPhones SuperRaw. I do think 5X is a more useful sensor than a 10X but Samsung fanboys and CZcamsrs raved so much about the S23 Ultra 30X companies got temporarily distracted from the key focal lengths. So the 5X is more useful in my opinion on the 13X. If you are going for a Chinese edition you could wait a few weeks for the vivo X100 Pro Plus if what I described leaned you towards vivo.
@@BarryJohnson Brother brother brother this is exactly the type of comparison I was hoping for from someone. Thank you so much! From what you've said I'm leaning more towards the Xiaomi. Aside from that it's just the OS and MIUI vs Origin OS (cause I prefer the Chinese vs Global models). I think they're pretty close but Origin OS seems to have some really cool ass widgets 😂
@@inthebackwiththerabbish Origin OS is beast. Unfortunately, it is Chinese only. For example, if you are US based you can get a Xiaomi 13 Ultra global complete with Android Auto.
@@BarryJohnson yeah man. Origin OS is one of the reasons that sells the Vivo to me instead of the Xiaomi. I'll wait for the X100 Pro Plus and see if I wanna get the Xiaomi still or not
@@inthebackwiththerabbish Nice.
How about updates…how often this phone get?
Any overheating?
Updates are phenomenal on Xiaomi flagships. Overheating? Sheesh, I have overheated phones in the past but it's never been a Xiaomi, vivo or OPPO flagship.
Can you tell me about the durability of the vegan leather back?
I had the phone since release and it has been flawless. Note, if I leave the house all my phones have a case on them.
Your voice😮
🙏🏽
This kind of reviews will made you question dxomark’s ranking 😂😂 Thats why it is very important to support reviewers like barry that dedicate their time giving us great review
I truly appreciate the kind words Chris. I just try to show the viewer the merits of each phone's camera systems. I think sometimes that gets missed. You would be surprised how many CZcamsrs and photographers immediately DM'D right after they saw the first clip of ship/ocean during the intro. Most were surprised that the cameras were this good. Also, thanks for taking the time to comment.
Yes indeed, this phone performs excellent but I have a big problem with the cameras! Had to sell it because the cameras obviously aren't tested on or made for brown skinned people because video sadly gives brown skin a bright orange hue no matter what settings you try. You can make it better in the pro mode using filters but that's only 1080p. Also the picture's contrast is unnaturally high, but some ppl may prefer that look.
Will you try the Sony Xperia 1 V? Man, I'm really impressed with that device. The colors are amazing and pretty much uncomparably accurate (especially in HDR modes) for a phone.
I'm watching black people skin on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra & I understand the orange color look. You need to toggle the OLED screen color scheme to "Original Color Pro" which is calibrated color. Then the skin of black person looks as naturally as they are with your eyes without the orange hue.
Thanks for responding. For some reason CZcams wasn't allowing me to respond to this comment until someone else responded. I had noticed that this fixed the issue as well.
this vs x90pp , which one you think better at photo & video?
🤔, I may have to do another comparison video. I compared the vivo directly for lowlight video against the OPPO. I need to do the same with the Xiaomi. It wouldn't be fair of me to answer because I am still shocked at how well the vivo shot concert footage.
@@BarryJohnson thanks for the reply mate.well im pretty sure most of us can't wait for that comparison video
@@bam_bad Your welcome and that's awesome to hear.
Which us carrier can i connect this to?
T-Mobile without issue.
@@BarryJohnson says that calls will get dropped frequently because xioami phones don't contain all of t-mobile bands? Is this true or is that with the older versions of xiaomi?
@@AndresRoldan102 It truly is area dependent. I got the OPPO Find X6 Pro before the Xiaomi 13 Ultra so I used it as a daily driver. It supported Verizon and T-Mobile. In my area the bands that both the Xiaomi and OPPO support work here well. Please check your area's buildout. You can generally find the most common bands in reddit. Or you can download an app and see what you are connected to most over the course of a week. Use Kimovil to tell you what bands the phone supports.
i understand that this phone have nice cpu ram and camera but research says it is dangerous for your privacy
Saying that a modern smartphone is dangerous for privacy is akin to stating that thieves exist. The only phone that exists as of today that can be made secure is the Pixel series by Google. That is if you run a ROM such as grapheneOS. I run two Pixels with that ROM. Btw, can you point me to that research so that I can fully block the lack of dynamic understanding in the current cyber security age that we are in. Wow.
One question when you shake the phone is it sound like something moving inside?
That's usually the optical image stabilizer in your phone for the main camera sensor.
@@BarryJohnson thank you
@@veracoric2777 You are welcome
I don't see the Pixel in the top devices tbh.
In what way, point and shoot?
In all aspects, there are better devices in my opinion. If pointing and shooting is your thing, take a look for example at the Honor Magic 5 Pro. @@BarryJohnson

It seems like CZcams deleted my response. I am so glad that you are enjoying it. It's always nice to see photographers respond well. I love the fact that I can be deliberate with my studio cams now. I don't ever feel pressure bringing them to family events.
