    Outstanding video! I must say, the review videos you've been pushing out are far superior to anything I've seen of late. Keep up the good work!! I am quite impressed with WW's build quality, better than 90% of their competitors, by far, and their prices are quite reasonable. Though, their customer service needs a lot of improvement.

      Thanks a lot! I'm putting a lot of effort into them and it's really nice to see it appreciated. Yes, I keep hearing people complain about WW customer service. Cant make out though whether it's a general problem or a loud minority. Only Winwing really knows... Did you also run into some problems with support?

    • @Phalanx443
      @Phalanx443 Před 6 měsíci

      @@WatchMysh Indeed, I did. I had inquired about getting a z-axis module and MFSSB Kit. WW said, basically, "No. You can't have them. You mere humans are too stupid to install them. They must be installed by us."
      Yet, those, and other items WW refuses to sell, are listed on their website(s) as being "for sale", yet, for well over two (2) years now they have been constantly "out of stock".... And only now can you purchase an Orion 2 joystick base pre-installed with MFSSB. That is now the only way one can get it. So, yeah, WW's customer service is about as helpful as having a raging case of hemorrhoids while racing in the Tour de France.
      Although(!), that is not to say I will not do business with them. They have an extremely high quality product of which few can match - let alone exceed. And it has a very reasonable price, too. So, yeah, I'll be going back, if only to get the rest of my soon-to-be sim pit.

    The reason I ask is that there is something like galvanic corrosion might occur and I am by far not a metal expert.

    • @WatchMysh
      @WatchMysh  Před 5 měsíci

      Tough. I'd say: get them without the dampener since the TB pedals also don't have one. Then the difference is "only" 100 bucks and you probably will buy your "forever pedals". The Skywalker set peforms a league or two above the TBs. For 170 the TB pedals aren't bad, though. A lot better than the 120-ish Logitechs. Still you'd need to prepare mentally to resist the urge to immediately sell them if you by chance try out some proper pedals like MFG, Virpil or Skywalkers, since the difference is huge.

    • @WatchMysh
      @WatchMysh  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thanks! Care to explain? I checked a million times and came to the conclusion that dampener is correct as well. Did I miss sth?
      Cambridge dict says: Meaning of dampener in English: a device that reduces vibration.
      Other sources say:
      "A dampener is someone or something that dampens. So damper and dampener can both refer to one that deadens sound vibrations. But damper does not work for something that makes something slightly wet."

      @vincentsantucci2478 Před 4 měsíci

      Your definition is correct in that something or someone than dampens (i.e., that makes something damp) can be called a dampener. But a mechanical device (e.g. hydraulic or pneumatic) that deadens, inhibits, dampens movement or vibration is called a damper.
