@@MC-ns8gb granted this is quite a late reply, but a song like this would only take about a year of truly consistent practice, it uses similar notes a LOT, apart from the middle section (the one with the lyrics) and even so, this part is lower. The speed would definitely be the hardest bit.
edit: this song is still INSANELY difficult, its just 10 years is a bit of a hope crusher for our enthusiastic fellow interested in the trumpet.
2nd edit: also that key change at 2:08 is an absolute beast to nail down.

2:09, the hero starts sprinting towards the villain as the music hypes up, the villain desperately throws projectiles at him to stop him, the hero narrowly avoids said attacks but gets grazed by one he shakes off the pain and pushes through landing one final all out punch to his enemy in fantastic slow motion

Here’s my idea of a post credits scene for the new Mario movie:
We cut to a close up of Donkey Kong’s island, then we zoom out from the island to reveal that someone’s looking through it with some binoculars. We then hear a deep, growling sinister voice. “Grrrr… this must be the place.” It’s King K. Rool and his Kremling crew! King K. Rool (in Jemaine Clement's voice) says “GRAH HA HA HA HA! Alright then, crew! Let’s get to work!” K. Rool and his crew jump out of their ship with this theme playing in the background, then we fade out.

Many of us like myself waited almost 20 years for King K. Rool to finally make it into Smash. I was incredibly happy he made it, but never in a million years did I expect them to go this hard on his theme. They didn’t have to, but I’m so happy they did!
