Good review! I'm running what must be close to a dozen Toothless 2 nano's now which makes it obviously my preferred camera. I seem to have overlooked the Phoenix 2 somehow after trying out Owl's, both Ratels, and Eagle's not to mention all the Runcam Nano's, Sparrows, and Swifts hahaha probably missing others but 30+ builds it's bound to happen. My default choice though for a Day and Night build has been the Toothless 2 nano. However ran across the Phoenix 2 nano ordering parts for a new all FETtec micro build and after watching a few reviews I think my default choice of Day/Night nano cam could change! Thanks for the comparison!

Ive found turning the wdr off for day flying when using the toothless 2 and it helps with washed out haze.

When it comes to analog, there's nothing wrong with a little extra saturation. We aren't color grading here.

What do you mean with "pref pred 4" ?..
Runcam increase the sharpness to a super high level to help the cam looks sharper, but the fact is that it makes the image very blurry, who can fly it with that shimmer?

Am i the only one who see that grainy and restless image of the Runcam? Honestly the Trees looks so bad to me, and thats exactly how the Phoenix 2 looks in my HDO2's. I was hopeing that the Phoenix 2 makes some difference to other CMOS cams, but no, not for my Eyes. Will order that Toothless 2, it looks mutch cleaner to me. Had the same bad Image in the HDO2 with the Phoenix 1, Swift micro v3, Ratel Micro and some Predator...

Hey man, how did it compare for you in the end? I have a toothless 2 nano, but im after a new camera.... Infact the phoenix 2, but im starting to think theres not much difference.
I think its a personal taste. Now i use the toothless micro 2, also used the Phoenix micro 2, but think the nanos looks a bit better.

Would the runcam Phoenix 2 be a nice step up from a Foxeer Falkor? not that impressed with the image on it, very noisy
Nic Nolan cameras are very subjective I never had a Falkor but I do have the falkor V2 and did a video comparison on it in my playlist. If u are having a lot of noise are you using a capacitor?

Foxeer toothless 2 have more natural color, phoenix 2 give to artificial feelings. I guess runcam made sharpness to very high(stock settings) for reviews -lol . Phoenix v 2 is down-grade of phoenix1
Comparing two cameras using each camera's stock settings tells you only which camera's stock settings look better. Doesn't tell you which camera is better. Pretty meaningless criteria on which to judge cameras.
Most people I actually polled this run factory default settings including myself.
