What’s your fav KoRn song? 🌽
Mine are ‘right now’ and ‘did my time’ as those are the tracks that got me into them back when tomb raider was out in 2002!
At the moment Clown and Blind.
I got into Korn about 1997, 1998 in secondary school when Follow the leader came out
The whole Take A Look In The Mirror album is stellar. That’s the album that got me into KoRn

"Nothing's fine I'm Korn" 🤣👏👌

😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍
He's oKay because he tORN her
Torn with Korn sounds... a little uncomfortable... 😅
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😅😅😅😅🤣😂😍
It is terrifyingly impressive how well this works.
a good song is a good song, that's all. Maisntream stuff can be very well written, creating hits for music industry is a very honorable job and some do it well, sometimes.
It helps that the original version of Torn was a rock song and Natalie Imbruglia's version is a pop cover. Very impressive KoRn-style cover non-the-less.
Nice maps, bruh,
I am pretty sure Torn was a cover of this song czcams.com/video/9OoEdfB7l18/video.html
That makes me want to vomit in terror! 😮 j/k. I like your choice of words. 😊
I'm pretty sure if Jonathan Davis hears this one, he'll wonder when exactly they recorded it.
Lol, ennit?
Great comment! Alot of truth to it.
It was between getting clean from meth, and touring with Follow The Leader I believe.
😅
This without a doubt the best "In the style of Korn" covers I have ever heard
You know Moonic though?
except isn't really a cover, has very little to do with the original song, it's just korn
@@notimportant3686it’s undeniably a cover. It’s the opposite of a traditional cover but I know every word before it comes because I know the original
@@peteonretreat2023 clearly i'm commenting because i also know the original... by the way, by that i also mean the ORIGINAL original... before they passed the song on to this chick and she made it popular
One of the best Korn impressions I’ve seen, especially on imitating Johnathan Davis’ vocal style
Zoned out and honestly thought I was listening to Korn for a minute.
@@mayssm You are. Its Jon Davis real voice manipulation using AI deepfake.
This is the most accurate Jon Davis impression I’ve seen on CZcams. I really hope he finishes the Korn - Rooster cover.
It sounds AI assisted, tbh. Still, great either way.
Steve and these other musical impressionists like Anthony Vincent, Moonic Productions and Mac Glocky don’t use AI in their work, it’s all their natural talent. They all started making these types of videos before AI covers were even a thing and proved that they were great then, so why would they even use AI if they’re already amazing at what they do?
This literally sounds like Korn covered the song. Such a faithful reproduction of their sound and Jon's vocals.
Yeah, but the bass is too clean.
korn also did cover for spice girls - word UP XD
@@user-po8ke5vh2e Melanie B. did a cover of Word Up. The original was from Cameo in 1986.
@@josephhobbs4754 oh XD ty
Yeah walmart version not even close 😂
"I'm cold and im ashamed, lying naked on the floor" hits so much harder imagining JD singing it! 🤘😪

Absofuckinglutely
It feels more believable. When Nathalie Imbruglia sings the same line it sounds like a privileged kid being melodramatic. That may be unfair lol, I don't know either of them personally obviously, but when you represent yourself a certain way it contextualises the shit you say. He sounds tortured. She sounds like a brat having a melty.
Not even the slightest bit gimmicky, goes hard as fuck.
Right there is nothing corny about this at all its just straight up good
I came expecting laughs,
instead got a pretty excellent cover.
Actually sounds genuine, and genuinely good.
its not a cover anymore XD
I'm a punk, but I think that the original is really hard hitting as it is 😅
[Edit: Was a little vague]
As a lifelong Korn fan, this is the best Korn style cover I've seen. Sounds straight out of Untouchables. Drums sounds 100% David. Your JD impression is on point as well. 10/10 amazing work.
shit is LEGITTTTT
Reminds me of Take A Look In The Mirror
agreed but also this one is awesome too: czcams.com/video/sIzaPb3T-Zo/video.html
Yeah I got the untouchables vibe for sure. The lyrics totally fit Korn!
A lifelong Korn fan would have said it was more "follow the leader" than "untouchables" but whatever.
It's good.
if this would've played randomly on my Spotify playlist, I would've never in a million years guessed it's an impression. Absolutely spot on.
Agree with you man.
Dude, you're stepping up the game for people who do this kind of stuff. You're so in tune with how the artists sound, vocally and with their guitar playing styles. All the other pieces just fall into place around it perfectly. I feel like I'm pretty much listening to the band doing a cover in their own style, but it's like some weird alternate universe where they actually do covers they would never do. Like, I don't even think the bands themselves would have even figured out how to sound like themselves through these covers that you do. So many bands try to play covers straight or more in line with the original arrangement, as like a way to pay respect to the original artist. You've figured out the formulas within each band's sound and you're so cleverly twisting that to fit in the most unexpected things. One of the few joys I have in life right now is how blown away and how much laughter I get from hearing each new old song you conjure up.

From a grunge song by an unknown band, to a pop song that helps make a woman a pop star, to this cover that sounds just like KoЯn.
You don't know how happy it makes me to finally find another person on youtube who acknowledges Ednaswap's version lol
Really shows the strength of the writing of the song to work so well in every version
Wow, the vocals are on point. Well, everything is on point, but Jesus, these vocals are insane.
I had this playing and legit didn't know this was not korn until I looked at my phone.
This is the best Korn impression out here. Anthony Vincent and Otu are good, but you are STELLAR.
Mac Glocky sounds pretty impressive, too!
@@pierfrancescocosta6336 thanks for the tip, gonna check him out!
@@Tm00ne You're welcome! His Korn version of "A Thousand Miles" is especially hilarious!
I don't know why they suddenly all want to turn love songs into psychological horror movie themes, though... 😅
What's OTU?
@@NcessNasya He's the guy from Moonic Productions, another similar CZcams channel!
It is really insane, Korn MUST see this!!!
Bro this actually slaps hard! Brings me back to my teens where I would listen to Korn a lot, but also love Torn, so this was the perfect combo for me! 😊❤
This song makes alot more sense when its about an abusive father
Never knew that
Is that a major theme in Korn's lyrics? Or is that why Natalie Imbruglia chose to record it? Or is that what the original song is about?
@@dclimbingsong is about her breaking up with her boyfriend 😄 However the abuse theme would work well for Korn
@@dclimbingI stopped listening to Korn over twenty years ago, but it was definitely a common theme in their earlier albums.
@@dclimbing Look up the lyrics to the song "daddy" by korn and get back to us.
This is scary good! Considering the lyrics, this fits KoRn well.
Thank you for mentioning "Torn" is a cover song. It's so frustrating to me that people have never heard the original song by Ednaswap because it is amazing and they don't get nearly enough credit for it. In my opinion, the original one is far superior to Natalie's version. That aside, this KoRn inspired cover is amazing and the perfect blend of my favorite band and one of my favorite alternative rock songs of the 90s. Amazing Jonathan Davis impression you've got there, and I like the riff which seems "Right Now" inspired, my favorite KoRn song.
agreed 100% Annie's vocal on the original was so raw it was amazing edna swap was an amazing band
I am a long time KoRn fan, and also love Torn. This is actually perfection, and you sound so similar to JD that it feels like a real KoRn cover and I'm all for it. I'm gonna keep coming back to this for sure, lol.
This is the best thing I've ever heard in my life
I have to agree!
The original song lyrics work surprisingly well for a KoRn track.
Because even though the melody is in a brighter mode the original subject content is actually very dark, it's an old school songwriting tactic

When does this guy only have less than 100k subs - Seriously!???! Underrated!
Simple
He's a music CZcamsr
I found him in January when he was doing a lot of AIC-style covers, I subscribed within twenty seconds and it baffles me that everyone in the world didn't immediately follow suit.
Some incredible dedication is required to pull something like this off, honestly don't see how it could be better. Subbed
This is insanely good
It's CRAZY how well this works. Totally different vibe and I'm here for it. Also, if I close my eyes, it sounds like Jonathan so, epic job!
Holy cow this is a banger. I really feel like I'm listening to Korn. Bravo my friend
This works waaaaay too well. Adding it to my Korn playlist XD
The bass was spot on, especially in the 2nd verse.
Right? I'll never understand why they strayed away from that signature chunky ass bass with the more recent records
@@mickschnabel original player left, wasn't it?
@@gc8972b even when he was still in, I noticed that sound slowly faded away on those later albums
I definitely like both versions! This rocked! :)
I'm Welsh awake and I can see
The perfect sky is Korn
Has Korn heard this yet? This is legit awesome and deserves more attention!
Scandinavian (old one at that) here: I was familiar with Lis Sørensen’s version “Brændt», Trine Rein’s version and the Ednaswap original but Natalie’s version was the first mp3 I ever downloaded (again: old!!) and as such, it holds a special place in my heart 😊 I had no idea I’d ever experience such a perfect Korn style cover, amazing!!! 😊
This is very powerful thinking of it as a KoRn song. So many words fit so well... the musical arrangement is amazing as well..
That is sick! Works incredibly well and actually sounds like a Korn song. Well done!
This must have been on an extended album version... pretty sweet bonus song!
Just amazing, really. I paused my music player for a minute to listen to this and started doing something else and thought I was listening to Korn until I realized otherwise.
Coming back to it all the time, very impressive.
same!!
Loved every second of it! Thank you for sharing!
This is the sickest cover I’ve seen in a while. I love the CZcams style of the video, very clever
Steve, you absolutely nailed it!
Absolute MASTERPIECE!!!! 👏👏👏😎
Sounds easily like a real cover by Korn, amazing job! It's crazy how you've nailed the vocals!
Absolutely nailed this, excellent work!
Pre chorus was 🔥
It's crazy how the lyrics for "I had a tough breakup" and "I've killed too many innocents and my soul is in tatters" are exactly the same
More like bad breakup turns into horrible childhood abuse. That's after all what a lot of Korn is actually about.
Um, translate the original song to "the man I loved raped me", you are only assuming breakup because of the mode it is in is brighter.
Um, translate the original song to "the man I loved raped me", you are only assuming breakup because of the mode it is in is brighter.
Wow, this goes so well together. 😳 Incredible vocals!
Incredible job! Even the vocals are spot on, and that is something.
This is truly incredible! 👏🏻🤘🏻 Well done!
Now can you do a trilogy of challenges...
"If Alice in Chains wrote 'Duality' by Slipknot"
"If System of a Down wrote 'Ironic' by Alanis Morissette"
"If Slipknot wrote 'Can't Hold Us' by Macklemore"
I would kill for that Alice cover
On ya Stevo. I had no idea Natalie version was a cover..🤘🤘
It was actually covered twice (from Ednaswap’s original) before Natalie handled it 😊
#YesIAmOld
The episode of "Torn" on the 60 Songs That Explain The 90s podcast is pretty interesting. That song, Torn, had quite a life, changing hands many times, before it got to Imbruglia, who def recorded the definitive version. 👍
God, this is perfect. Not only is your playing and you’re singing completely on point, but I never really thought about how much these lyrics sound like Jonathan Davis anyway. Instant subscription!
The AIC Toxic and this one are my favorites so far. I'm still browsing though. Your riffs and vocals are GREATNESS
That was bloody brilliant mate, well done 🤘
Absolutely nailed this one! Great job
Man this cover sounds so good!
Love it!
This is damn good. My first video I've ever watched by you, but I can already tell you're immensely talented
This is just simply perfect. Now, I'll watch every other videos of your channel dear sir.
This is so sick, fantastic cover using korn vocals and I can see this being a real thing that korn would do. Perfect cover.
This is really really good ! Well done !
This is genuinely one of the best imitation covers i've seen! Good work!
I would also like to add, he had amazing restraint not doing that scat thing korn is known for. Very impressive!
Awesome. Sounds like Korn, but still kept the Torn melody intact.👍 Subbed.
Holy shit balls dude - that is killer!
Not only an insanely good and faithful KoRn impression, not just a damn good song in it's own right, but damn they go together better than any other Korn rendition I've seen so far. It's perfect, hats off to ya man - great frickin job.
Take it easy, and cheers for doing what you do. Appreciate ya 👍🤘
The song from korn we all needed but didn't know we needed.
AWESOME!!!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
I subscribed as soon as the chorus hit. Great job dude!
Holy shit!! That was an amazing tribute to Korn. Calling it just an impression doesnt do it justice.
lol this is so accurate, and the timestamp chapter descriptions too!
This is absolutely incredible!
Outstanding performance!
Such golden age KoRn, I bloody love it!
This is so KoRn. You did a great job

Perfect. Well done. Really entertaining!
banger of a cover. spot on impression , love it goes way to hard
Damn. Nailed the KoRn style pre-chorus.
This is so wicked! This may become my newest obsession of a song for a few weeks or next month or so brother!!!

Incredibly good, listening to this on loop for an hour and still going
This is so accurate! Impressive! Very cool and nice work!

Unreal. This is so well done.
Now I really want korn to cover this. You found a perfect song that fits there style and great performance.
That was bloody brilliant 😍
