I'm not sure if the picture matches the year the song was recorded. It's a wonderful song but I just wish that the right picture accompanied it. Also a wonderful spoken introduction by Luke, which was sadly cut off of the recording on compilation CDs.
The Corries?!? Not a chance, sorry. It may be a Scottish song but no Scot (or anyone for that matter) will ever sing this song like Luke. Makes the hairs stand on the back of my neck.... every time.

My Dad drank with these lads back in the day and he had the upmost respect for Luke.
This has to be one of my favorite recordings of anyone, ever. Luke was just the best.
The song Kelly was most proud of and rightly so, it's by far the finest version
