Even her first banner was bad timing, sandwiched between Ayaka and Raiden. Good thing I tried really hard to get all three of them back to back to back. That was brutal, good thing Inazuma is just realeased back then so lots of primo to get.
History still repeating itself since this time Yoimiya follows Ayaka's banner, and will be right next to Raiden's.
The amount I relate to this wasting all my primogems to get all 3 was a struggle but rngjesus blessed me with 50/50 wins I was so happy

nah, if you wanna get her, you get her. regardless which character they put together with. i got her weapon when losing at weapon banner, then i pulled for her. i'd say shes worth it as long as you understand her playstyle
Worth to most people means being able to clear abyss with her viably. She’s been my main since her first banner, but she’s an ok option against like 1/20 abyss rotations and needs really high investment. I’ve been able to do it with her every abyss, but compared to virtually all other limited 5*s she’s worse. Only thing worth about her is that she’s Yoimiya.
@leiah6514 her wep is a CD% stat stick and she can work just fine with sucrose bennett and XQ. Also, one of her best F2P options (that's only about 8% behind an R4 Rust) is R5 slingshot a 3 star wep. And even with TP, it's only about a 10% dps gain over R5 rust. In fact, she's pretty damn easy to build considering you don't really need cons for her and so many units use EoSF, that anyone who's farmed for Raiden, XQ, Xiangling, Yelan etc. Probably already has a decent to great set of shimenawas pieces for her.
That hold m1 playstyle is brutal
@@matrinezkevin11492 You’re losing out on a lot of damage without a shielder because most of her damage relies on her N5 AND vaping her N3+N5. Dodging even once outside of after the N5 or facing more than one enemy can cut her damage massively. Shiminawa’s is ok on her, but is definitely not her best (especially with cons). Her burst is a good buff to Xingqiu and Bennett, and does non-negligible damage. You need to invest in at least her and Xingqiu with crit compared to slapping EM on Raiden/Kuki and calling it a day. Her enemy matchups are just bad (good lately), and compared to Hu Tao she is significantly worse in almost all abyss cycles. She’s not Dehya or Amber bad, but calling her worth for ease of building or meta reasons is flat out a lie. She’s only worth for how amazing she is as Yoimiya.

I think its because all her banners have just been paired with majority of players more Fav charactes
Even from the start she was designed like osananajimi type heroine who always lose in harem anime so in a way I'd say this is fitting for her lol but don't get me wrong I'm a Yoimiya main (with signature weapon even). The good thing about her rerun is if you want her, you will eventually have her, because eventually you will pull for her when you already have the other characters (shogun, ayaka, kazuha, nahida), if you're satisfied with having just C0 of those characters, that is.

Yeah, I already had her in 3.7 rerun. Not the best, but i still new player back then (play in 3.6) and she is my first 5 star limited

I wanted her so badly at that time but lost her to MONA....
This time I have no primos (some 30 wishes thats it) and also no pity.(
When i was new (2.8) i pulled for her not knowing i was guranteed. And still to this she's one of my top tier DPS to mop bosses. I don't have to do anything just use her skill and unga bunga. Her voice lines and idles are enjoyable. Overall such a wholesome character she is ❤
The funny thing for me everything about yoimiya is unexpected yet gives a pleasant surprise. first i got cracked shimenawa full set while farming for emblem, followed by her signature bow on first rerun while pulling on a whim, after that i pulled the character on her 2nd rerun. She's a character i play if i want a braindead team, put zhongli, yelan, xq n mash the buttons. No ER requirements, no fancy rotations and moves, she's pure simplicity and sometimes being a simple is not a bad thing. So goodluck to all of u who plan to pull for her

My luck isn't as good as yours but the ingredients for a successful Yoimiya team seem to be coming together for me, even though I didn't specifically plan for it.
I have R4 Rust Bow, have Zhong Li for shielding, and C3 Yun Jin. Xingqiu and Bennett are built since I play National Team. Now I just need Yoimiya herself.

considering how often they rerun her, i believe she's like a placeholder for banners. Like, 'what we will put in the next banner? for sure a popular character, so... what about raiden shogun?' 'but sir, who else with her?' 'idk, just put yoimiya, nobody pulls for her anyways'

I have c1 raiden and c3 sara and I am 50 wishes in guarenteed.
So if I get raiden c2 as well as sara c6 I'll stop. Else if I don't get c6 sara I will switch to yoimiya and pull till I get c6 sara or hit pity. Then if I get yoimiya or not is dependant on my luck as I will be short of primos by then😢.

So much pain, I legit not only failed to get yoimiya on 50/50 each of those banners at 80+ wishes, but then I would go to 70- literally 89 wishes a second time and run out of time. I finally got her this time as I had 200 wishes saved up and it took all of them. I have wish more for this character in total than I have wished for collective characters from any one region.

You can rerun yoimia with any other 5 star character, it will not make any difference. Players will wish on the character they like playing with. It's simple.

I got Yoimiya because i already had Kazuha back in 1.6, so i decided "why not?" I still don't regret it, went for her weapon and Yae's weapon in the next reru.

During the livestream I was seriously thinking to pull anyway in her banner to have more pulls=more Chevreuse. But I think is better have Raiden C1...even if I don't use Raiden very much...

bruh, Aloy Abso-fucking-Lutely does NOT out damage Yoimiya. Yoimiya's damage is comparable to the damage Hu-tau does, but more emphasis on single target then Hu-tau has. you might be a clown.
i suppose by this time many already have raiden.(c2 raiden is still highly sought, but the pure EM raiden is a thing plus cost savvy).and when single target is involved, she is one of the queen.
