Hello, to answer your question : 1h curse is good for ratting because of the cost of gear and 1v1 dmg output potential.
But you can play 1h curse/shadowcaller also in 1v1. There is many high IP shadowcallers you will see in meta builds (soldier armor/hell jacket, martlock cape, demon boots versions).
Also 1h curse is possible for 1v1 with higher IP but you lack mobility. I saw few guys running 6.3/8.3 sets with mistwalker jacket, valor boots, undead capes and cultist cowl/fiend cowl.
It can definitely compete with other meta builds as cursed is and always will be strong because of the amount of dps with 4 stacks on enemy. Reason why you dont see it often in mists in higher IP is because it lacks mobility on weapon skills. You can have passive for move speed but you need to play around it well to use it to full potential.

Well Im showing uneven fights where enemies are at least 100ip higher. To win fights like this you need to capitalize on their mistakes. If they wont do any, or force me to do one, Ill lose.
