Ive made a ton of fraken bronzers, blushes and highlights out of eyeshdows ever since joining the project pan community so i really enjoyed this !!

I repurpose eye shadow for sewing, specifically tracing and marking patterns onto my fabrics that have more “give” (fabrics that are less stiff and are harder to trace with regular marking tool). I use a cheap angled brush to basically “paint” the powder onto the fabric with a light hand. It works really well!l and helps me get a more accurate trace.
I i usually use a white or light colored shadow so it doesn’t stain the fabric.

I love this! I have also used some neutral coloured eyue pencils for this too, and so far I had no staining :) I love this, couse I can use every last bit of that years old product not scared of giving myself an eye infection :P I need to try that with powders too :D

💄 I used the lipstick trick back in the 90s to have a lip that matched my eye look, so this definitely works! You can also add a bit of gloss (clear/shimmer...whatever you're going for) if you need to. Another Idea I used to do--and still do--is to add "a touch" of eyeshadow to lipstick to alter the shade. If you want to nude out your lip, add a bit of a brown shadow. If you want to brighten a lip that's not pink enough, add a bit of a pink shadow (or a deep mauve to tone down a lip). If you want to add some shimmer, add a bit of a shimmer shadow or a highlight. You get the idea. The whole point is to HAVE FUN AND PLAY, LOL! It's makeup, so enjoy the process. Right? It's like ART on your FACE... 💄

I love all of these ideas, one of my favorite ways to use shadows up that especially irritate my eyes is using it as nail polish. Either by mixing in a clear coat bottle or putting a base coat and tapping on the shadow then use a top coat to seal it

Yes! I have done this with ELF bite size berry palette. The red made my eyelids watery and the skin tender and swollen so I stopped using it on my eyes. I run my blush brush back and forth through all of them and makes a beautiful blush color.

Hey Sarah, I really enjoyed this and you have inspired me to get creative! I would also add that I sometimes use an eyeshadow for a root coverup on my hair part/ hair line. Thanks for the motivation! ♥ Elle

I've definitely used eyeshadow and bronzer to hide roots/grey hair when I'm wearing my hair up! If I'm trying to use up something, I'll just keep using the same eyeshadow daily with alternating colours as long as it takes to get it done.

great video sarah! it's always nice to see how creative you get with makeup. it's been a long time since i bought any blushes or highlighters because i've been using eyeshadows instead! my favorite palette is the huda beauty desert dusk palette, it has the perfect contour shade and the colorful toppers can be used as highlight shades

I have started to see all my products as coloured powders or creams already, and I feel like there's no going back :P Of coures, some work better that others for certain purposes, but in general I think I don't need to buy any blush/contour/bronzer anymore considering I have every possible shade and finish in my eyeshadow palettes. I have not tried the lip product trick you presented, I need to try that!

The flip side also works if you use up the lid set shade you can refill the pan with a face powder . I bought a used palette of Poshmark ( abh Norvina ) and the base shade was gone but everything else was nearly untouched!

I’m trying to pan a matte shadow in the mini Zendo palette. I’ve been using it as a blush. It’s really pretty. Going to go for the lip next too. But then I feel bad for neglecting my actual blush and lippies. But I need to roll this dang shade out! Lol

Buying the depixym clear mixing medium has made my eyeshadows even more multi purpose! It dries down to a matte finish and means that I can add longevity to all my repurposed eyeshadows. It makes using eyeshadow as lipstick even better because it dries more like a liquid lipstick. It’s also the strongest hold brow gel I’ve ever used!

I enjoy these tip videos! I actually do some of these already in part due to not wanting to get back up after sitting down. Lol I have chronic pain so I tend to do my makeup on my couch instead of at my vanity so occasionally I’ll forget to grab something. I’ve used cream colored shades as under eye setting powders so many times. I’ve also used my profusion mirage palette for blush multiple times.

Love this inspiring, think outside the box video! The BH palettes are beautiful. I’ve been using the BH Belgian Waffle palette on my neck and chest this summer, and it is great that way.

Great video Sarah! It gave me some ideas I've never tried. Do you have any tips for getting the last parts of hardened eyeshadow out of a pan? I've just finished a palette and have no idea how to get them out.

I ran to try the lipstick idea and I'm shocked and how well it worked 😮, it looks beautiful ❤ like a velvet matte lipstick. Now I can find a use to my red eyeshadows I almost never use 😅❤ Thank you!

I like using taupe eyeshadows as brow powder, and have been using eyeshadows as eyeliner for years. You can make it sharp like liquid liner but you can also make it smudged and a bit softer. So versatile!

I love this series you did! it really helped me get more out of my (by necessity) small makeup collection, & I mixed together a franken-shadow where I combined a shadow that was a bust (not well pigmented, supposed to be metallic but isn't really) with other colours to get a unique shade I'll actually use! I'm also planning to mix some colours that I'm missing in my collection, & it's just so much fun to be able to mix the exact shade I want :) Overall your videos have really helped me to look at products I never used, where the formula or shade didn't work for me, & find new, creative ways to use them. It helps avoid waste, is a lot of fun & saves money!

I bought the Lime Crime Venus XL palette and some of the shades just irritate my eyes (particular red dyes perhaps). I was going to declutter it, then realized it doubles as a face palette, despite the small pan sizes. You've given me the idea to try some of the shades as a highlight or lip stain. Can't wait to see how it works!

I almost always wear eyeshadow as blush and I love it! It's really hard for me to find blushes that match my undertones, so single shadows have been my savior. I have a quad sized magnetic palette with 4 single shadows that make my perfect blush palette, and it's been so amazing.

These are all great ideas, but just make sure that the colour you are using is lip safe (red especially).

Not powder shadows, but I recently took my empty elf putty primer container and put my elf putty bronzer and the remnants of my ABH contour stick in it and melted it down (slowly with a hairdryer. You want the air speed on low or you’ll make a mess). I can actually fit my brush in the bronzer now! 10/10.

I don't think that you should apologize for an acciden't like getting too dark of a shade for your bronzer
    it's okay! it happens
