- I love Star Wars and was a HUGE fan of the Lego Star Wars series when I was younger! Today, I wanted to see if that same love still holds true with the NEW Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga. Will this be another series? We'll see

This game has cool fighting mechanics, but you rarely have an opportunity to use it to its full extent besides in boss fights (or if you have a coop partner who you can duel with for fun). This game needs some online arena mode so that you can actually use the combo and shooting mechanics to their true extent. Otherwise, its just wasted potential.
You can turn on mumble mode on in the settings, it’s pretty cool since you can still read the dialogue with the subtitles but honestly the voice actors put too much effort for it to be unheard, I personally love the voices
And it's kind of pointless, since the cutscenes are specifically built for dialogue whereas before because they had to work around no VO they were playfully pantomiming everything.

A lot of the voice actors are from the Star Wars the Clone Wars show so that explains why the acting is so good.

A masterpiece is such an over exaggeration that all the Lego fanboys call it. It’s far from a masterpiece with all its issues. Levels are so quick and boring. Open world is bland as fuck
I like how this man says we can't do this in proper while he's one of the rare few that starts with episode 4 everyone just naturally goes to episode 1 it's the start in personally out of the three it's the most interesting with everything it gives you
You can turn off auto healing in the settings to make it more challenging also

The game is too easy u can just block infinity. And it’s not like u need to cuz the enemies have piss aim. And there’s no punishment for dying, wish there could just be a difficulty setting

This game was meant to be the definitive lego star wars experience... In my opinion, it is the Definitive Star Wars gaming experience. There are so many references and jokes in this game that I'll never even catch all of them.

It’s good but the fact that they left a whole bunch of movie parts out is disappointing. They could’ve made the open world parts smaller and made the story experience better, a lot of it feels rushed just to get you back into the open world. But other than that it’s a good game.

This LEGO game has top tier visual gags, amazing new combat, expansive open worlds, total freedom of your gameplay and a damn SKILL TREE. All while staying true to the source material. 10/10 game.

MAN i used to play a butt load of the Complete series on Wii. So many fun memories. The coolest thing about this is that all the Clone Wars actors reprised their roles and its just awesome
this game is just awesome, the lightsaber duels are epic and the shooting, flying and other gameplay are very very satifying

To respond to your intro, nostalgia does carry it. It is a complete evolution of the old games. If you want that classic mumble from the characters in the old game they have an option in the extras for you.
I love these games I’m 21 and a father I played these games since I was a kid and I love them! They are like comfort food of gaming no challenge just enjoying the game it doesn’t take itself seriously and some of it makes you laugh a little i loved this game
