    Bit disappointed in the ending of Cure for Cancer slot. Instead of using a Despicable Me clip at the end, it should've been that bit from Family Guy where Carter remarks about keeping the cure a secret: "Because there's far more money to be made in treating a disease rather than curing it. Why cure Cancer in a day when you can treat someone for the rest of their lives and bill them every step of the way?"

    • @stevekoller3314
      @stevekoller3314 Před 2 lety +2

      @necroarcanistxiii Před 2 lety +2

      @@stevekoller3314 As the saying goes, Hippity Hoppity, your money is Capitalist property.
      I don't buy right into the conspiracies, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the truth. My logic is, if they DO have the cure now, it's expensive to produce/administer or has too many side effects, so they're waiting until they can do it dirt cheap, THEN come out and say they have the cure, but will cost an arm, leg, kidney, and half of your firstborn child.

    • @BjornV1994
      @BjornV1994 Před 2 lety +6

      People look at cancer too much like it is an infection of sorts (which is rarely the case and with the exceptions, is still quite different than any infection that you can easily compare it to). First of all, cancer isn't one disease, there are a lot of variations and forms in which we see cancer, there is also a lot of causes that contribute to the formation of cancer, therefore, even there would be a cure, it wouldn't be one cure. Secondly, we have to consider what cancer actually is: an unwanted and regular malignant mutation of your cells, often causing them to divide uncontrollably, causing in turn all kind of problems (I know my explanation is still pretty brief but I'm not going to explain every form of cancer here). And currently most medication we have, can only try to eliminate those cancer cells before they get too much and the main focus of cancer research currently, is aimed at identifying more precisely the malignant cells and not mistake for healthy cells and vice versa. Because currently, a lot of the issues of cancer treatment as that too few malignant cells are destroyed and too many healthy cells become collateral damage and things are improving in this field. It just will never have a cure like an antibiotic and it is hard to prevent cancer, either from coming in existence or from returning. And that's the said reality of a lot of diseases.
      But distrust big pharma as much as you want, they are working on cures and treatments are getting better. I mean, for Multiple Sclerose, a few decades ago, you were just screwed, a few years ago (I thought my doctor said 10 years ago but it can be longer), doctors had two options to treat a patient to prevent attacks and currently, there are a least 10 possible treatment options, he can proscribe if the patient doesn't react well to the medication or it doesn't prevent attacks. Earlier last year, Biontech announced that they were working on a mRNA-vaccin to MS, based on the current Covid-vaccins and just a few weeks back, a Harvard study have found a link between MS and glandural fever and hope that through this discovery, they might find even better treatments or perhaps a cure... While I can tell you, Big Pharma already makes enough money from people who suffer from this disease... It is fine to distrust such an industry, they are in it for the money after all but they still are interested in cures (as the first who can patent a cure, destroys their competition in that field). For example, if there is treatment that's 100% absolutely effective or let's even say 90%, can cure a disease or keep it from progressing in cases like Cancer or MS, the rest is almost out of business as the rest of the treatments wouldn't even be proscribed by most doctors. Why would you proscribe something if you have better alternatives...
      In short: the truth is rather complicated and the money of Big Pharma isn't really in: how long can we stretch this, but more, how many people can convince to use our product and not that of another. (That's also the reason why rare diseases often have no cure or a very expensive one, there is less money in it).

Everything i have heard is just shy of strawman. The arguments made about chem trails lacks the information about airline jets using aluminum in the fuel for higher combustion rate, which also puts aluminum particles in the atmosphere, and we breath them in.
    Next time maybe you would like to sight your sources, and bring ALL of the information to the table (not just one page of the book).
