So have I! The Motorweek staff do a wonderful job. They also work with John Davis, a great host of the show and narrator for the road and comparison tests
I dislike that youtube removed (and keeps dropping) my subscription to MotorWeek. This has probably happened automatically to other subscribers. What's up? Do they have a beef with MotorWeek?
The reason the name is French is that it comes from the Mulsanne straight in the Le Mans race - which Bentley used to win regularly in their heyday. Yes, they're still British - even though the Germans pay the bills. As for the engine, contrary to popular belief, it isn't a GM/Buick/Chevy V8. The L-series engine was originally developed by Rolls-Royce in the 1950s as the second V8 engine in the firm's history (the first was developed for the 1905 Rolls-Royce model that would simply use the engine type as the car's model name) and continually developed by Bentley.
orbits2 He said average, and that's about right. It costs as much as my first New York apartment, and that's at the bottom of the New York scale, where the average is about $1.3M.
The nuances that make the Mulsanne an excellent car are lost in a 5 minute review with MotorWeek’s usual cornball journalism. There are much better reviews out there, deservedly longer, unrushed, and free of the goofy chauffeur and rich people jokes.
May I add, I believe that MotorWeek has some of the most professional content on this site. I've been viewing their programs for years.

At least the car doesn't look like the majority of cars being built today- which all look alike.
Hats off to all the craftsmen and women in building this magnificent machine!
Absolute beauty.

Great seeing Greg Carloss suited up again! Still needs a pair of driving gloves to go with the suit.

It's a 6.75 litre engine, please get your facts right
Actually, it is a 6 3/4 liter engine. But they're rounding to the nearest tenth.
@@jonathangwynne1917 yes 6 3/4 does mean 6.75
@@kamrankhan-lj1ng, yes but Bentley is old-school. They don't do decimal.
If I had the money to afford one of these, I'd also have the money to redesign the front. Which I would
***** uhhh no
Jorge Rodriguez why would you care if this was AWD...? and FWD..do you really think a large luxury car would be FWD?
***** If you had that much money you could just get a good car instead. ;)
Those tail lights just are not right.. Maybe it'she tacky chrome around the light, but something has to be done.

The headlights look like bug eyes. Other than that it looks great.
This car cost about as much as two average homes fully loaded. Rich people annoy me..

Brendan A. MacWade I can hear
Where i live an average price of a house is equal to or greater than 7 Mulsanne
Lovely car, but the script is a bit over the top in its attempt to British-it-up...
For almost half a million, its really hideous.

This was the dumbest ad copy read to us yet. Really to notch BS
An overpriced Chrysler 300C ........ 400K+ for this junk? No thanks.
