2020-made it to playoffs and rushed for more yards than Henry and threw for more yards than Tannahill. Against the Bills he finished with a higher Qbr than Allen and threw for 40 less yards while not playing the entire 4th
21-the Ravens decimated with injuries and Larmar was top 10 in passing TD and top 10 in rushing and #1 in the entire AFC
22-Lamar was the only player ever to start a season top 5 in rushing and passing TD.

and the thing is, Burrow was solid that whole playoffs but people act like Burrow carried them to the Super Bowl when in reality the defense carried that team more than Burrow did. It's not a knock on Burrow either, the offensive line was bad so Burrow often didn't have time, receivers often didn't have time to get open, they made enough plays when it counted so they deserve credit but while all three phases deserve credit, the defense did more to earn it than the offense.
Burrow is not 2 ill tell you that. He has 3 #1 wide receivers.

It’s just the fact that he doesn’t do anything special. Not elite arm talent, not making plays out of structure, not mobile, not the smartest qb, etc. He’s good in a great system which isn’t a bad thing but not the world beater some of the other guys are

It is refreshing to see someone make a top 10 QB list that doesn’t include Brock Purdy. This shows me that you can actually analyze the game beyond just looking at a stat sheet and saying “oh wow this guy must be good”.

The eagles offense was a disaster from the start last year with Brian Johnson. Having suffered through every game with sky high expectations, it was clear Jalen was forced to look first read, make as much time as possible, and throw it or run . The route concepts were atrocious and rudimentary , Kellen Moore has zero expectations but is a definite upgrade. Hurts will return to form as a top 5 QB, I predict a high completion percentage year for him

Jordan Love was brutal the first half of the season, He played 6-8 good games the last half of the season "1 of them the Rams sat all their star players" But you have him at 9. Is it fair to ask a QB has to have 1 whole good year before he is considered one of the best in the league?
he only had a bad 4 game stretch, he played good weeks 1-3 and then played like the best qb in the league the final 12 games of the season and almost beat the 1 seed niners on the road with the youngest team in the nfl so this is definitely fair

I need to see way more from from Love when defensive coordinator's are scheming to stop him, and the pressure is on to say he is the 9th best QB in the league... Over QBs who have done way more in the NFL
Solid list but I would personally have put rodgers and stafford at 5 & 6, moved the young guys higher up behind those two vets. I probably also would have had lawrence in there over love.

Lamar is clearly above burrow. Just bc burrow beats Mahomes in the playoffs doesn’t mean he is better than Lamar. Have to compare head to head especially when in the same division. Lamar owns burrow and it hasn’t really been close. Allen is debatable vs Lamar but he did beat Lamar in the playoffs so head to head, yeah tie can go to Allen.

Hurts played like an MVP last season. The play calling was just horrible.
Hurts made all the right throws and was accurate. It was just that nobody was ever open. Even elite receivers can’t get open when the offense is so predictable.
Its crazy how someone that wasnt ready for the nfl but got thrown into the wolves due to qb injurys, managed to play so well that he won the starting job over the 3rd ovr pick just a year ago and has 4 playoff wins now in his 2 years in the league with incredible individual stats cannot crack the top 10 but Jordan Love is a top 10 QB. I F with you bro. But this list lost its credibility just for that reason. Also, i find it funny that people use having good wepons against purdy but burrow(the Golden Child) who i would say has s similar skill set to purdy is regarded as a star when he has a good OC in their headcoach, had a good run game with Mixon and has not 1 or 2 but 3 no1 recievers that are threats on any given down.
I knew he wouldn't put Purdy in the 10 even though he clearly belongs, Purdy should be a top 7 or 8.

Brock Purdy is not a top 10 QB. A true top 10 QB wouldn’t fail anytime it rains, anytime guys around him get hurt, anytime they’re playing a great team, and in 5 out of 6 playoff games. Every time the rest of the team hasn’t been able to carry him and they’ve had to rely on Purdy to make plays to win games, he folds like a cheap suit.

@mr.lucaln7097 been a Lions fan since 05. Never missed a Lions game and grew up watching stafford and I always argued for him being a top 10 talent. That being said, at this point Goff is a better talent. Age and injury has caught up to Matt. He's still a top 15 QB, but goff is easy top 12

This list should be Patrick number 1 Lamar number 2 and everyone else wherever. Allen over Lamar is dead after Lamar won a playoff game and got his second MVP. Allen throws more bad passes than Lamar too. Burrow is the only man on this list who has and elite 1,2 and used to be elite number 3 WR and a good RB. Ive watched a lot of Burrow and he is one if those guys who cant play banged up. He starts every season off bad he cannot be number two unless there is a bias. Lamar is the only one on this kist who has never had a true X amd only decent at best WRs until Zay Flowers.

I definitely understand the Purdy thing in either way. I see some Purdys issues but I think as time goes he will make top list more regularly. I can't believe Jordan Love got in over him for a good end to a season when he's been in the league a lot longer then Purdy and Purdy still had more success tho he does have star studded team that takes away a lil from his accolades cuz he doesn't have to do as much. That's my take anyways.

It depends which Brock Purdy you’re talking about. In the regular season, in good weather, when everyone around him is healthy, and they’re playing a bad team, Purdy might be a top 5 QB. If it’s raining, if some guys are hurt, if they’re in the playoffs, or they’re playing a great team, Purdy might not even be a top 20 QB.

The year they went to the Super Bowl Jimmy G was top 5 in the league in TD passes. Jimmy G went 4-2 in the playoffs, making it to a Super Bowl and 2 NFC championship games, which is exactly the same as Purdy’s playoff record. And in 5 games with CMC, Jimmy G had 9 TDs and 1 INT, which is almost exactly the same as what Purdy averages. So the idea that the 49ers offense can make an average QB look better isn’t even hypothetical because we’ve literally already seen it.
