Hope they will realize band 8 with calling feature but it's also good have no calling feature too. Maybe it's good to have it when you need call an emergency quickly when you can't move a hand probably. The bip 5 look amazing too, curious how the band 8 will look maybe bigger screen if they did bip 5 bigger. It's awesome to wear a band, maybe should wait until they realse a band, Band 7 look beautiful! 🥰 Good review.
I totally agree with your remark about comfort. My wrists are arthritic and any kind of watch is painful. This one isn't. The rubbery band does not make me feel sweaty either. It is just right for my needs. But the minus for me is that the pin that you press through the holes to tighten the band dont have much of a tip so once or twice it has worked loose while Im wearing it, especially the watch face is against my leg. If only Alexa worked on it. It worked once or twice then I got a message that I needed to update the app (it was) and sign into Amazon, which I did several times. Not a game changer - I wasn't even expecting it to have Alexa
@@Poetry4Peace It's actually pretty good, it has all the things you need for a smartwatch, alexa is pretty useful, theres a calendar, app store and watch facce store isn't that good but it has some good options, perfect sized screen with smooth scrolling the only caveat is the always on display uses up A LOT of battery
@@traffix0225 No you need to connect it to your phone first, but you can control playback on your phone once it's connected I believe there is also a Spotify app for the watch where you can choose playlist to play on you phone
I have a Mi Band 3 and it now utilizes the Zepp Life app for sync activities. I really want to upgrade from this but don't find the Mi band 5/6 series listed. I understand that Amazefit now handles the smart bands business for Mi. My concern being, will my data in the Zepp life app be retained and will be merged with the newly generated data if I move from my current band 3 to let's suppose this amazefit band 7?
Could you please tell me if when you set "Event Reminders" they still show in the phone display in full (say 5-6 word text reminder) even when Bluetooth connection is off between phone and Amazfit? I'm looking to see if I can set reminders while the Amazfit is Bluetooth connected to phone and then show at later stages when disconnected from the phone. Thank you.

It advertises something like 150 sport modes, but I see only a few. Where are all the rest? Or are they just bullshitting? Also, does it count flights of stairs climbed, like my old Fitbit Charge 3?

Are you able to listen you music through you earbud or does you phone have to be on you?
