I really think you need to change the name of this channel. The Boring Channel? Nope, nothing boring about it. Inspiring? Yes!
    Motivating?Yes!
    Relaxing? Oh YES!
You are the hardest working man I've ever seen, and you take pride in your work and the quality you provide. This place is a prime example; you could have just mowed and edged a little and all the neighbors would have been thrilled at the improvement. But no, you worked until you made it BEAUTIFUL! It's obvious that someone once cared about and for this little place....that back patio and all the curved walkways are stunning!
Thank you for making the world a little better and a lot prettier one overgrown yard at a time. Thanks for taking us along. Stay safe.

I noticed that you have a skill in talking with the inquisitive neighbors. You let them talk and then you pause long enough for them to get all the questions and assumptions out of their system. You pause again and explain what you are doing. It is a soft skill that not a lot of people have. You have what it takes to deal with people in any business environment.

@pamkammann1176 when I was 72 the house next door went into foreclosure. For five years I kept the front and back yards mowed and cleaned up to avoid having it look empty. At the same time on the other side of me was my friendly neighbor who was very ill so I did her yards for four years until she passed away. I am 79 and do all my yard work. I do have a very sweet new neighbor who is quick to give me a hand when I get overwhelmed. The first time anyone has offered to help me.

Years ago my husband became disabled and unable to work. I became his fulltime caretaker. I had no time to keep up the yard. We had lived in this subdivision almost twenty years. I had mowed neighbors yards in need from time to time through the years. When we could have used help for the yard, not one neighbor stepped forward to offer to help. I am 70 years old now living rural with my husband. We were both raised in small rural towns. We retired to another state and all of us neighbors come to the aid of each other when needed. You can keep subdivision living. Country folk know what being a good neighbor means.

At my house, in Springfield, Mo. there is a wild lot next to my property. In the 3 years that I have lived there, I have seen "the owner" and her boyfriend "cut the grass" twice. There are trees that are very large and not in the best condition. One was hanging over both of my bedrooms. I contacted a few contractors and asked them to cut the ones that were threatening my house. They refused, saying that they wouldn't trespass. Finally, I got a crew who agreed to cut the one tree after I bought a saw and said that I would cut it myself and drag the pieces to my front yard where they could take it from there. They cut it down to a 3-4 foot stump, said they would come with a stump grinder in a few days, but never came back. Another of those trees broke in a storm and blocked the street. All of the misery makes me want to buy heavy duty equipment and fight the beast, but I'm without income at 61 3/4 years old and not qualified to do the work.

Wow! Kevin thank you so for bringing that yard back the people that lived there before, you could tell really loved their yard. The time they took to make it look so nice. It’s sad that it’s left to just rot instead of letting a family live there. Thank you for what you do! ❤U & ur family 😘oh the turtles Brutus and Bella!

Thanks, Kevin. Beautiful , as usual. I still don’t understand why neighbors don’t mow it to help keep their own property safe and clean. Do it to at least keep the critters at bay.

In 1979 my Grammie, who I was very close to, and my grandpa both passed away within 28-30 hours of each other. We had just moved to Northern California 6 months before and so my mom went to the to LA area for several weeks and stayed with my Grammie so she could visit and spend my grandpa’s last days with him, because he was in the hospital and very close to passing due to cancer. But on March 20th at like 2am (The day after my 15th birthday) her mom (Grammie), out of nowhere, passed away from a heart attack and on March 21st in the morning her dad, my grandpa, passed away. Her parents had been divorced for over 18 years, yet, they both passed away within 30 hours of each other. My dad, my 3 brothers and I flew down to LA the day my Grammie passed so we were able to say goodbye to my grandpa that day. It still blows my mind that they both passed within a day of each other but hadn’t talked in 18 years ❤❤❤❤❤

That is the kind of lawn mowing that looks satisfying to me. I don't want to see the grass clippings left on the lawn. It looks messy. I used to watch a popular lawn mowing guy's CZcams channel. He used to clean and mow so neatly before, but lately, he is leaving the grass clippings on the lawn, making it look messy and uneven in soil level. I also watch your channel but since there is a lot of "talking", I put it in 2x speed. There is so much improvement now as it was before. From now on, you'll be my favorite. Keep up the good job Kevin. God bless.

I started working in Jan 1979 for Pacific Telephone as a repair technician for landlines before cell phones! I was one of very few women who climbed poles & I loved doing that job. I learned a lot from the old timers who taught me. After 37yrs I retired and started helping do yard work for my mom's lady friends, who were needing their yards cleaned up. Now I am 68yr young & still doing it 9yrs later...Keep up the good work you're doing...Hello 👋🏻 from Alhambra Southern California 🌴

    Easy enough house to find.
    Built in 1964
Transferred from a couple to just the female's name in 2001, then sold in 2001 for $27,000 - nothing since or before.
Likely a couple lived in it from new, built that playhouse and those nice paths for their kids out back, etc.
Neighborhood picture shows 4 cars (2 in the yard), and the grass is both mowed and torn up from parking/walking on it.
Neighbor with the trike has the same cars, so don't think it's a super old photo.

As always, great job. It looks so much better! You definitely don't talk too much. I love how you watch out for the box turtles. I have a Three-toed Box turtle. They aren't as pretty as the Eastern or Ornate, but they're sweet & smart too.
I live in Jackson, MS. On the news (WLBT 3) a few days ago, they were talking about the large number of properties here that are very overgrown. So, if you are ever in the area looking for something to do, Jackson can keep you busy.
