I sent this song to my husband when we separated ten years ago. My 17 year old daughter and I moved to another state to keep my sanity and keep her away from the toxic path he was heading down when we separated. Although we didn't reconcile, and we were together for 20 years we were on civil to friendly terms. He would visit our home and the visits were nice. We both moved on with our lives and remarried. He just passed away Sept 19th of 2021. This song will always bring me back to that moment I tried to let him know that we loved him. We were able to sit and talk before he passed away, I will always choose to keep that conversation between us until it's my turn to pass over. I love you Chris, I'll see you on the other side❤

this song always brings tears to my eyes. I have a little one who is only 18 months old. but seeing how fast she has grown and how much she has changed it this short time makes me realize that it wont be like this forever and one day im going to have to watch her leave.

It was cold and snowing and he got lost in a blizzard and broke down. I miss him so much and can't wait for him to come home!!

i think of my parents and my sister when i hear this song. I'm a full time college student, and i never get to see my parents or my sister that often anymore, were always busy or we're each out doing our own thing. I can truly say that this song makes me think of them and even though i live with them, it makes me miss then even more.
