- Five-times Gold Cup winner, David Jefferies "DJ" will always be remembered by Olivers Mount race fans for his fun-loving attitude and all-out riding style, particularly his high-speed wheelies down the Back Straight and over the Jump towards the end of the bottom straight, which has since been renamed 'Jefferies Jump' in memory of the road racing legend.
I have been watching road racing for 40 years trust me David was a real talent…
Great memories of a true 1-off. Hugely missed but never forgotten by all Real Roadracing fans. Thank you Rubberfish for the fab upload.

Lovely film; just shows his fun and talented character. Certainly one of the most naturally gifted riders ever. He was born to be a part of motorcycle racing.

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT DJ COULD RIDE A MOTORBIKE. WAS A MASTER ON THE ROADS AND GOOD ON THE CIRCUITS WHEN HE GOT THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT.
