i have been into hospital for over 8 months for my parent hospitalisation and have spent over 3 months in 2 hospitals where basic HSE (health safety environment) rules where not followed. I too agree about the restrictions of access, if a facility is well staffed then they strictly limit access. only area where people access is 24/7 monitored is ICUs and apart from that other facilities are there and no proper gaurd rounds and check points for securities like they do in my IT OFFICE building where people access card controlled rooms and security roam with point to point and cover entire facility and gaurd 24/7
If Even there is lot of money been collected towards medical treatment, those go as profit to those entities of private. In case of government they are severely understaffed and non-regulated area. If audited properly and actions taken on time no such incidents could have probability.
Like if there’s a gaurd on round, camera to monitor and a secure access to rest zone for female. This incident won’t have a chance to occur in such facility.
I hate those lawyers who still trying to save those criminals..
